The 'Server Lite' version does not require an installation, you may just run the EXE from anywhere on your PC
The server app is required to run on your Windows media center PC. It is the application that listens to commands send from your Apple device then sends keep commands to Media Center.

Wow… didn’t expect after all these years for it to install and work perfectly. Well, it did! I’m super happy with the app despite it’s dated looks and will continue to use it until I can’t!
Great remote for windows media center
This is a really good app, just what I was looking for.
Remember to install the "server program" on your windows machine that you have media center installed on.
Great app
This app works very well. I have this installed on three Media Center systems, two are Windows7 and the third is a Windows 8. The server install was smooth and painless. I have the app on my iPhone and my wife's iPad all without issue.
I spoke with the developer (Greg) to add some features, he was able to accommodate my request quickly and worked very close with me until I was fully satisfied.
This is a top notch app and a developer that understood my request and was able to implement quickly.
