The app is great, but…

First impressions of the app are great. It looks like it could do the job well, and I like the different themes. However, I have one issue I cannot seem to figure out a workaround for, and that is that when I try to use a custom port number for the server, it won’t let me, despite having purchased the upgrade.

Developer Response ,

Edit: This has been fixed in MCSS 1.0.2. After reading a bug report sent via the in-app “Submit Feedback” button, I realized I misunderstood the issue you were stating, and with the release of MCSS 1.0.2 you will now be able to add servers with custom ports.

Thanks for bringing this issue to light, and helping to improve MCSS. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hi, thanks for the feedback!

Non-standard ports are not a paid feature and work out of the box, though, the overwhelming majority of Minecraft servers only use the ports 25565 for Java Edition and 19132 for Bedrock Edition. If the server you’re attempting to add does not have a standard port and isn’t connecting, unfortunately there’s nothing I’m able to do as that would be an issue with the API, and I am unable to change that behavior from within the app. I do plan on adding an info card to the “Add Server” page with more information about server names and ports. I hope the issue you are experiencing is resolved either by the API (this will not require an app update and should fix itself automatically).

Thank you for your feedback,
