Meal Planner Pal is a simple, easy to use, customizable meal planning tool.
It is designed to take away the hassle of planning your meals, using features such as customisable meal templates, a grocery list and calorie tracker.
The focus is where it should be - creating a meal plan.
Feature highlights are:
- Meal plans are created on a daily basis which can be easily navigated using the intuitive design
- The ability to track calories (or not!)
- A grocery basket which allows you to create a list of groceries alongside your meal plan of which items can be marked when obtained (no more badly written notes!)
- You can also email your meal plan and grocery list so you can print it off or share with others.
There are also a number of extra features, such as:
- The ability to set the number of days in a plan (as opposed to the standard seven days)
- The ability to create your own meal library so creating future meal plans becomes quicker and easier. These meals can then be dragged and dropped onto your plan.
-The ability to set reminders/alerts directly from the app e.g. to remember to defrost food or to remind you what you have planned to eat.
- The ability to track and calculate the cost of your groceries as you shop (no more nasty surprises!)
-A manageable pantry so that you can easily track what essential items need restocking

Ratings and Reviews
Awesome! (And a couple of suggestions.)
I want to start off by saying that this is an amazing app; simple, sleek, and efficient. I’ve only had it for a week and I can already see how much I’m going to love it. I LOVE that I can simply list what I had for each meal instead of having to break it down by calories, macros, etc. For the Nutritarian diet, this is the perfect compromise! This is the first app that I’ve found that allows me to simply list what I ate and I love it! A couple of small suggestions: 1) Allow users to change the order of items in their pantry and grocery lists. 2) If possible, take this one step further and allow users to “categorize” items in these lists (vegetables, beans, fruits, whole grains, etc). 3) Is it possible to have items that need to be “restock”ed in the pantry show up on the grocery list? I feel like this should be a fairly simple if/else programming statement. Thank you for an awesome app!
Love the idea but it keeps crashing
I love the idea of this app. I’ve been downloading many different apps to see what would work best for me to plan my meals. I liked the simplicity of this app and chose to delete all the other apps that were way too complicated and required me to write in detailed recipes for my meal plans. The only problem is that ever since the second day after downloading it, the app crashes every time I open it. I really hope this gets fixed soon.
This review comes with an in app upgrade for the review. I got this offer pretty much as soon as I opened the app for the first time. I chose this app because it helps you plan ALL meals for the day, not just dinner. Going one click in, I already love that I can switch screens between the daily plan and the weekly plan. So far I’m pleased with the UI. Hopefully it will remain as intuitive as it started. I will update after being able to explore more.
