*The Most Fun App to Teach Children the Fundamentals of Length Measurement *
* This app is now free for a limited period of time! *

The Measure Length App is one of the most visually rich and fun app available in the App Store which teaches children the basic concepts of length measurement.

The app includes more than seven animals which walk onto the screen and need to be measured with the help of a translucent ruler. The child then needs to select one of the options specified which corresponds to the correct length of the animal.

Getting fifteen measurements right will end the game.

The game has algorithms which makes it harder / easier to measure the animals based upon the speed at which the child is able to grasp the concepts.

- Over seven interesting and cute animals to measure.
- Visually rich graphics and animations to keep young learners engaged.
- Excellent background music and special effect sounds that make it more fun to learn.

ok app for measuring

I don't like that the object being measure is placed in the middle of the ruler instead of at the end. While this may be good for a little more advanced measuring, this could confuse kidd that are trying to learn the concept. Plus, the majority of the objects are 4" long. They need to change the size of the animals or have more of a variety.

Great little app for kids to learn measurement

It is a nice app and is quite well done.. except maybe for a couple of points… like having bigger numbers on the ruler. There is need for more variety. Maybe along with animals the children can measure smaller stuff which they use daily.. like pencil, eraser… etc… The kids might feel more attuned towards stuff they use regularly.

Okay so far

I like being able to move the ruler and the animals are fun. My recommendation for improvement would be to either write the answer as a mixed fraction or extend the decimal place out to the hundredths place. One-fourth does not make sense in elementary school when it's written as 0.3
