Video and audio metadata Editor
Media Meta is a meted data editor application for video and audio files. It supports mp4, mov, m4v, 3GP, mp3, m4a and more file format. It can batch edit and change the created date, shoot or record date, title, artist, album, artwork, director, actors, producers, publisher, copyright, descriptions, composer, band, comments, release year, track number, lyrics, and gps altitude, gps latitude, gps longitude and more metadata.
In addition, it can copy the shooting/recording date to the created date, copy the created date to the shooting and recording date, set the shooting and recording date based on filename, remove all video and audio metadata, extract the artwork image and metadata, rename videos and audios by metadata tags, write metadata from xmp file to videos.

Rip off
This meta data inspector does not provide the original date of the video. I was hoping to get more information than a free metadata inspector which provided the correct date of the video I have but this $17 app gives me today's date when I downloaded the video from an email. Don't waste your money b/c this app provides inaccurate information.

When you download a video from an email, Mac Finder will use the current date as the created date and time, but it's not the shooting date in the video metadata. If the video does contain the original shooting date, the product will display it. Or you can use the product to add and edit the shooting date and created date, and other video metadata tags.

I had a question about an issue and the developer and team were exceptionally responsive - fixed the issue immediately! Great software - does exactly what it says!
Doesn't work
The app does not work on video files.
I'm using Media Meta 1.4.2 on a Mac with OS 14.3.1. Deleted MM1.4.2 and installed MM1.4.4 and it still doesn't work. I hope it didn't charge me the additional $19.99 for the second purchase.
When I add the video files and make changes to the metadata, then press "Save Changes," the changes do not save and nothing seems to change. Changes also do not save when I use the "Quick Action," then "Save Changes."
