MediCall provides you with a quick, easy way to display your medical conditions and emergency contacts on your lock screen.
Setup is simple - just add the following:
- Name & Date of Birth
- Medical Conditions
- Up to 3 emergency contacts
- An image of you
Once you’ve added those items, MediCall will create a unique medical ID that you can go ahead and download to your device to set as your lock screen wallpaper.
Looking to add a custom background? MediCall supports custom backgrounds so you can use a nice image behind the medical ID overlay.
In the event of a medical emergency, you can rely on MediCall to present your medical ID to a passing member of public of emergency services.
As you don’t need to unlock your phone to view the lock screen wallpaper, MediCall is the quickest and safest method of displaying your medical ID when timing matters.
Seeing what your medical ID might look like is easy - just tap the full screen icon on the main MediCall screen and you’ll be able to view the whole medical ID.
The medical ID background is semi-transparent to ensure the background behind can still be seen without compromising the legibility of the medical ID text.
Another bonus of adding MediCall to your lock screen is finding your phone if it gets lost! By having up to 3 emergency contacts on your lock screen, someone finding your phone can easily get in contact with one of them to return your phone.
MediCall is the fastest solution for accessing your medical ID on your device.

Save your $1.99
I thought this would automatically add the info to the lock screen, it doesn’t seem to actually do that. You have to enter your info, then bring in the photo you want as your background, then save. Then manually set up your new lock screen photo. There’s no transparency options or anything.
You can easily do the same thing, with more options, in a variety of free apps that allow you to add text to your photos. Plus you’d be able to have the text wherever you want on the pic, not a spot you can’t change. Spend the $1.99 on a soda or something. Really disappointed & wish I could get my money back.
