I’d say that there’s a bit of a learning curve to this app, but it serves such a wonderful purpose. My daughter has a lot of medications and her father and I are going through a divorce. This app allows us to make sure that she is getting her doses and also leave each other notes about things like diapers, behaviors, and other things that we may want to make note of. Support has also been wonderful whenever I’ve been a pinch that I couldn’t figure out on my own. They’re very speedy and polite and of course helpful.

    Developer Response

Hi @Primagina, thank you for this wonderful review! Beyond happy that Encurage is helping you care for your daughter, and coordinate care for both parents. Thank you so much as well for sharing your story, and helping more families navigating transitions to learn how the app can be useful for them💗We're so glad support team was able to help quickly! We'll definitely share this feedback with them. If you'd like to share more feedback, or feature requests, we would love to chat with you at hello@encurage.app

  • Love this app

UPDATED REVIEW: the support team immediately solved the issue as soon as it was brought to their attention. They were quick and helpful and I appreciated the attention to helping each individual customer. I have 3 sick kids right now, all different ages and weights. We are in the midst of stressful thanksgiving cross country travel trying to get home while all being ill. I was having the HARDEST time keeping track of what time I have each kid their last dose of medicine. This app has helped our family SO MUCH. Thank you for making something to help simplify a stressful time for our family. I like the apps layout and being able to track my children’s medicines and when they took them. It’s very functional and easy to use. I’m thankful for the notifications that give me a heads up that it’s time for my child’s next dose of medicine. Great work you guys!

  • Its an ok app

    Sallysue1714

Its an ok app. A little confusing to enter meds but i think i got it. I gave it a 3 because it could be better. For one no gummy option. Second short term makes us add a date. I have meds that haven't been started yet but would like to add as it is as needed. No as needed option. So i cant add a med without a start or started date and creates a countdown for a medication that is as needed. It would also be nice to have a tab that keeps a daily summary of all meds taken through out the day instead of having to click each category. Another thing is its a bit misleading I paid 3.99 because of certain as needed features but when i paid nothing changed. The app was still the same. Pros: it has an ibuprofen and acetaminophen tracker. It also has a symptoms tracker. It could use the extra features above to be better. I recommend to use free version unless you really need to enter symptoms.

    Developer Response

Hi @Sallysue1714, thanks so much for your review. Adding as-needed options beyond acetaminophen and ibuprofen is something our team is working on and we hope to have available soon, and we will also consider your additional suggestions for inclusion in our future updates. Our mission is to help parents care for their children easily and safely, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us.

  • Misleading and buggy

    EmmyW

The main reason I downloaded this was for symptom tracking and daily medicine doses. Sadly you have to pay for that feature, which wasn’t easy to understand before downloading. And the only way to figure that out is to go through account creation and share personal info. So then I wanted to delete the account. Button doesn’t work. Literally nothing happens. So now they have my data and I can’t make them delete. The whole thing feels very unsafe when it relates to children and their health data. I’m disappointed. If you’re not willing to pay, don’t download this app. Free is a misnomer when it doesn’t offer basic features without payment.** update: in their reply, the developer suggests they are not aware there is a bug deleting account. So let me describe it to you. I hit a button that says delete account. It then says are you sure? And I hit a button that says “Yes, Delete Account” and the overlay closes and *nothing happens*. That is a bug. Now you are aware. Don’t gaslight me please.

    Developer Response

Hi @EmmyW, thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience with the app. We are currently unaware of any bug regarding self deletion of the account, however if you experienced an issue you can email us through the support button within the app or email to suuport@oncure-app.com, and we will take care of the account deletion for you. The privacy of the data is top of mind for us, and the data we collect is the absolute minimal data to allow app function and maintenance, and communicate with users if needed. We are aware of the sensitivity of the data, and address it accordingly with adequate safety measures. The Symptom Tracker is indeed a one-time in-app purchase of $1.99 for future unlimited use. Other features are offered for free (short-term prescriptions), or free for a period of time to let our users decide if they wish to pay (fever episodes, long term prescriptions). We will review our paywalls and app descriptions to make sure there is adequate clarity.

  • Could be better, but works

    Kaoriter

No way to edit past doses. Sometimes mistakes are made and then I have to end the whole episode and lose all the data. No way to save it.Can’t see all fever temps easily without clicking each past events separately. A graph or display the temps all lined up would be better. Wanted to take a screen shot to send doctor but it tedious and pointless to click on each one.No notifications from short term prescriptions. I get them only for “pain & fever as needed”. Frustrating when trying to keep on a schedule to administer antibiotics. Had to use a regular timer on my phone which defeats the purpose.Would be great if all medications that needed to be given for the day (short term, ongoing and fever medications) all appeared on one screen without having to click between tabs.Don’t see the point of having the child’s gender… I like the ease of being able to time does of fever reducers. Excellent. Also like I can add a caregiver (my spouse) so we can share the responsibility of giving medications on time on 2 different phones.Would be great if this wasn’t just marketed for children. Families. I added myself as a child so I can track my medications and symptoms as well when I’m feeling sick.

    Developer Response

Hello @Kaoriter, we want to thank you wholeheartedly for your honest feedback! We're glad you are finding some features helpful, and as for your improvement suggestions - we are in the process of incorporating them into a new and updated version, that we hope to be able to share news about soon. Your feedback is extremely helpful in validating parents' needs so that we can continue improving the app. All the best!

  • Not helpful

    REDone_Siren

I paid for this app to try it with its full features. I have 3 kids. One has several daily on going prescriptions and at the time I purchased this app, one was doing a round of antibiotics for an ear infection and then had surgery (tonsillectomy). So I was looking for an app that could help me track and manage the many meds I had to administer throughout the day for a period of 1-2 weeks as well as on an ongoing basis. This app was not helpful at all. It is cumbersome to use. There is no intuitive/easy way to correct dosage information if you input something wrong. I gave up and used a spreadsheet to manage the tonsillectomy meds and will continue to use watch timers for the regular ongoing prescriptions until I find a better tracking app.

    Developer Response

Hello @REDone_Siren, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that the app was not helpful for your needs. We are a small team working to improve the app with the goal of helping parents, and we strive to learn from parents' feedback to keep improving it.
