This is the best meditation app I’ve ever used.I’ve been meditating daily for over a year, and during this time I’ve tried almost every meditation app out there. In the end, I honestly came to the conclusion that this one is the best. What really makes it special for me is the customizable Tibetan bowl sound. It’s absolutely amazing. That sound gently reminds you to step out of your thoughts and come back to the present moment. Sometimes I even use each bowl sound as a cue to set an intention — for example, focusing on my body with one sound and on my breath with the next.

  • The only app that has gotten me to actually meditate

    Bowsertune

All of the other "talking in your ear" meditation apps are nice and all, but Zenitizer (first off - great name!) has gotten me to concentrate by making me want engage with the beautiful interface first. Because it is easy to navigate, it is an inviting app. One where you can choose your sounds to meditate to. It has a quick guide on meditation that gives you some simple things to note while meditating, and then you are off...into a world of bliss. Manuel is a great developer, who really cares about the app, and is highly responsive. Thanks to Zenitizer I am meditating more now than ever. I start my day calm. Also, the watch app is great because you can quickly get into a 3 minute meditation if you like, and that is helpful when taking breaks throughout the day. Give this app a shot. The small annual subscription price is worth your health.

Wow, thank you so much. What an incredibly kind and detailed review! It really means a lot to me ☺️Super happy to hear that Zenitizer is such a great meditation companion for you throughout your day! That was my design intention for the app - informed by my own meditation practice - and knowing that there’s others out there using it as part of their daily meditation routine is such an incredible feeling. Thank you for your support!Happy Meditating,Manuel

  • Straightforward Meditation Timer Without the Dreck

    Velma12010

This has good bells, all the customization and control you need, inexpensive, and—sorry its best quality is a negative—no repulsive swamp and clown show and bullying to get in and out. Open you’re there at the timer, done and you’re done. (I was an Insight Timer user for years, and it’s still a great timer (as far as I know), but marketing took over and to get to the timer is unpleasant and to get out is nauseating, and the intensity of the toxic messaging that your meditation only counts if you log it and your meditation’s purpose is to win ugly flashy kudos…well... not for me anymore.) I tried all the meditation timer apps I could find and Zenitizer is the only one that was good enough. Happy to be here.

Thank you so much for your review! It really resonates with me because you're describing exactly my design goals for Zenitizer and motivation to build it in the first place as I was looking for a tool like this to aid my own meditation practice.Even as I add new features and ship updates, I'll always strive to keep it simple and focused on the core timer experience and not clutter or distractions - because I, personally, would hate that too :)Thanks so much for your support and Happy Meditating!Manuel

  • Finally! Specially-made for self-guided meditation.

    J Turnquist

This is a beautiful and well-thought out app that has helped out my self-guided mediation practice thrive. Instead of just having some background sounds, there are customizable prompts and timers within the main timer to return me to my focus or divide my time into different intentions. And because you can save your “routines” you can create the perfect ways to be mindful and access them quickly. The bells, gongs, chimes, and background sounds are lovely. Plus the stats and goals are helpful and incorporate into the Health app. I use this more than once every day.

Hey, thank you so much for this wonderful review. Yes, I originally started working on this app when I personally wanted to do more self-guided meditations rather than relying on spoken guidance for my own practice. It makes me very happy to hear from others such who appreciate the app for the very same reasons :)I will keep working on Zenitizer with that specific design goal and use case in mind!Happy Meditating!Manuel

  • Tried them all and this is best

    Cordoni84

I have tried all of the major and many of the smaller meditation timer apps, and this one is the best of all. My favorite thing is the setting to loop the end of session notification. I use it on my watch with no audio so I can meditate easily whiteout having to go find headphones or be distracted with my phone in my lap. This means I need a good vibration notice for the end of the session. Most other apps give you a single gentle vibration when done. When I am I a deep session, this does not go noticed. The looped notification on this app keeps vibrating till I turn it off. No more missed session ends! Simple and intuitive user interface, and easily lets you add meditation time you did outside of the app. Only thing I would add is meditation reminders. I am paying for this app it works so well for me. Bravo!

Thank you so much for this wonderful review and your incredibly kind words! Really happy to hear that the loop end bell setting works well for you. Personally I use this setting all the time because I also don’t want to miss session ends :)Meditation reminders are a planned feature and have a very high priority for me. In fact, I intend to start working on a prototype for the feature this week.Thank you for your support - it means a lot to me!Happy Meditating 🧘Manuel

  • An excellent companion to my mediation

    clovertalk

As I began to move beyond guided meditations, I started looking for an app that could still provide some pleasant background sounds, allow me to set a timer, and integrate with Apple Health. This app does all of that, and more! I was also looking an Apple Watch app that would allow me to set a timer for longer than what the built in Mindfulness app does. The Apple Watch app for Zenitizer does that. I highly recommend this app for anyone looking to move into unguided meditation!

Thank you so much for the kind and detailed review! Really appreciate it 🙏Thanks also for sharing your story about moving from guided meditations towards unguided meditation. I was in a very similar situation, when I got my initial inspiration for Zenitizer. Looking for a tool to support my unguided meditation practice while still having access to pleasant soundscapes and deep integration with the Apple ecosystem, I decided to build it myself. It brings me so much joy to learn that others on a similar journey find Zenitizer useful, too 😊Happy Meditating 🧘
