Amazing exercises. New app design even worse than old one

For $130/year one would think they could have hired someone decent to do this app. The old app UX was pretty bad. But the new one is even worse. It’s like a first generation app - from 15 years ago. . Feels like a bunch of melt employees who are super familiar with the existing app and have zero UX experience designed it based on an afternoon of wouldn’t it be great if and forgetting the end user. Oh and none of them have used a fitness app or even Netflix. The HBO app works better than this one.

The organization of materials is super random. No search. No way to figure out where the tutorial for some randomly named exercise is. And even the relaunch is a joke. They relaunched it. None of your old logins worked. No communication about it. Then once one was in. It had deleted all your faves etc. No more downloads.

Who is this for?

Absolutely user hostile in features and design. Lost my old favorite content and can’t search for it? Playback is ridiculous, with features that seemed aimed at instructors rather than users. I don’t want to be “scored” and I don’t care about stats, and there’s no way to opt out of these things. So there’s just a lot of pointless noise. Playback keeps cutting out too, and the play/stop is tiny for some reason, probably because of all the pointless buttons on the screen for stuff I don’t want.

New App Design is Bad

Been using Melt Method app for a couple of years now. The redesign of the app is very bad. It’s hard to navigate. Full of bugs. I can’t cast the videos to my television. Search features are confusing. The app is often slow and unresponsive. Whoever designed this needs to scrap it and start over again from scratch.

The bad reviews all saying the same thing should hopefully push them to fix this.
