This is a super handy app when you want to send a quick note to yourself. I use it all the time in the middle of the night when I want to remember something for the morning, to take notes at meetings, and to add things to my todo list (via email). The interface is extremely simple and streamlined so you literally just have to type your note and press enter. It goes right to the top of your inbox.
A superb app. If I'm in landscape mode on my iPad, this app opens & auto-flips accordingly. The TO addy is changeable, on the fly, if desired. Likewise, you can configure this app for a blank subject, prefix or suffix, easily changing on the spot as desired. What I most appreciate is the TextExpander integration. With the appropriate OmniFocus-targeted snippets, this is miles faster for task entry on the go. (Hey, I am not a fan of the OmniFocus UI, especially when I'm in a hurry.) Kudos to the dev! Many thanks!!!
This app is a pleasure to use. I use it for sending myself private notes. The information goes directly to me, so I don’t have to worry about accidentally emailing it to another person. I do wish my emails could be archived in the app just case my email server failed...but I won’t dock this app for that.
Despite instructions in the settings area, the long-press does not reveal any tools for adding attachments or pasting attachments from the clipboard. Bummer :(update: The attachment gizmo is on the SECOND screen, after you tap "send." I was looking for it in the first screen. My bad! Thanks for helping me out.
Hi Rebcabin, Sorry you're having trouble adding attachments! I just tested on this end and was able to attach as expected -- are you using the "classic" two-tap method (disable "one-tap send)? you should be able to add attachments to the standard iOS mail interface that is presented when you tap send in MeMail. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me at feedback@memailapp.com if you have any further issues/questions. *update: thank you for your revised review!Best,David
I bought this app (after trying four others) because I thought someone finally realized that after you type your message you just want to hit send. Not "finish" then send. Not send, then confirm send. Not send, then send again from your email interface (as this app does). Please update app to eliminate this unnecessary step! Super frustrating.
AutoSubject was the feature I really wanted. Very easy app to use. I'd like to request that it support more than one email address, and possibly more than one configuration so I can have different configurations for my home email and work email.
