Getting the healthcare you need should be as easy and convenient as possible. The Memorial Health System app offers you just that.
Use the Memorial Health System app to schedule appointments with Memorial Physician Services physicians and advanced practice providers, anytime, anywhere. Self-scheduling is currently available at these MPS clinics:
MPS – Chatham, Koke Mill, North Dirksen, Petersburg and South Sixth.
Locate the nearest Memorial ExpressCare and see how many people are waiting at each location. You can check in at Memorial ExpressCare before leaving home with the “On My Way” feature.
If a clinic visit doesn’t fit your schedule, use the app to launch a virtual appointment with MemorialNow. With MemorialNow, you can get a diagnosis and treatment plan from an experienced Memorial Physician Services provider within an hour, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
How It Works:
First, create a profile within the Memorial app. Once your profile is complete and registered, you will be able to fully access all the features.
For scheduling appointments, simply let us know who needs the appointment and pick the appointment type needed. Then select your MPS physician or a member of their care team, and schedule an appointment.
For Memorial ExpressCare, you’ll see all locations, as well as the number of people currently waiting in line. Select the ExpressCare location of your choice and then tap the “On My Way” option.
Once you confirm you are on your way, the app will give you the time to arrive for your appointment. When you arrive, please check in at the front desk or through this app using the “visits” tab on the home screen.
For virtual visits, simply select MemorialNow.
Creating a Profile:
The first step in using the Memorial app is to create a user profile. This profile will include your name, birthdate and basic contact info. Your profile also allows you to add dependents and create emergency contacts. Your dependents and emergency contacts can also save their spot in line using your Memorial profile. The Memorial app displays all your upcoming appointments, as well as your past appointments.
Works with Amazon Alexa:
The Memorial app features full integration with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant. Once installed, you can set up a profile and preferred ExpressCare location directly through the app. Then all you have to do is say... "Alexa, tell ExpressCare I'm on my way.”

On my way
I really like being able to tap the “on my way” feature and feel confident I’ll be able to get right in. Very nicely done. And I am eager for the iteration of this app to see what additional functionality there will be.
Useless for measuring wait time because...
They’ve added other services to the department such a laboratory and I think radiology. I was the “second” patient on the urgent care list, and 40 minutes later, after watching at least 7 people be called and go back for things, they finally called me. They need to add those “other patients” to the number recorded on the app, so people can decide whether or not to go somewhere else or come in. I would have left had I been told the amount of people who were in front of me.

I am able to schedule appointments for my son and I without having to wait on the phone or wait for a call back!! I absolutely love it!!
