Love the program

Im updating my review. Initially I was having issues with the app not recording my activities. That was very frustrating and ate up most of my trial period. The team behind the app was responsive and fixed the issue in about a week. In hindsight, part of the point of this program is to help you build resiliency and change your perspective so I can now see it as a real-life test. Initially I thought the feel of the different activities and some of the names were a bit campy but they’ve won me over. The daily lessons are sometimes very insightful, and if you complete the daily Do the feedback and suggestions from the AI engine are generally pretty good. I’ve used the chat feature and I can see it as a good tool to quickly reframe thoughts or your state of mind. The Cold Shower Protocol is so far my favorite part. Except today when I hit the 30-second mark. The lessons are quick and practical, and I get the incredible sense of energy and accomplishment when I finish. This has become my favorite part of my morning. Having something to look forward to when I get out of bed and starting the day off feeling accomplished has been a game changer for me.

Amazing team of people

I was scrolling on tiktok after the passing of a very close relative and was uplifted by one of their posts. Without even knowing an app existed, and without expecting a response, I shot them a message and thanked them for making me smile after such a hard loss. Within an hour or two they responded with a heartfelt personal paragraph, and offered me a free a year on their subscription.
The mental team have been the nicest people I have ever interacted with on the internet, and their positive outlook on life has caused me to view things in a different way. The approach to men’s mental health without traditional therapy is something i’ve looked for as somebody who struggles with it, and mental seems to be the perfect solutions. Without pushing you out of your comfort zone, Mental allows you to improve your life and stability of your mind through small details and actions that will make you feel like your old self. It doesn’t take a lot of time, and I look forward to using mental everyday and working towards a more fulfilling and enjoyable life.

This app is worth every penny

I’ve seen people knock this app, saying “$70 a year, for cold showers!?! Psssh, what a scam!”

From someone who was an early adopter who let their subscription lapse and came back, I can tell you that it’s so much more than that. They really care about the quality of the app and the community. Yeah, the app started out as cold showers and the daily deuce, but they’ve added the push-up challenge and, perhaps the best feature of all, AI therapists. I am honestly blown away by how good these AI therapy is. I see a real therapist, who is quite good, but there’s something about having a therapist in your pocket who can quickly help you see the root of your problem and help you see the solutions. That, alone, is worth the cost of the app.

This is an app built by guys, for guys. They get you and they get your struggles and they built an amazing tool to help you better yourself and get through all of the tough times in life. Bravo, sirs. Bravo.
