For over a decade I tried every single app, minibrowser or weird workaround hoping to be finally able to quickly check the headlines from the menubar without leaving what I was doing. They all sucked, big time, and they were removed, deleted, refunded right away. News articles are my passion and my job. At last, Menubar RSS, which is simply fantastic and at this price tag is a steal. When someone across the world solves a problem for you, you cannot be anything but grateful. Not only that, when the app was initially released I thought a few minor details could be improved and, yeah, I wrote to the developer! He was beyond gracious, he granted all my wishes, and he seemed eager to keep working on the app and making it even better in the future. Do buy this app, it really deserves a place among the very best in the App Store.
Looks nice but...
Very basic. Too basic. Would be nice to be able to:
- Mark as read as you scroll down
- Or mark all as read double clicking the name of the feed down below
- Remove articles from feed after x days
- Set an interval to check for new articles
- Get notifications of new articles
