Join the IRL movement.

Mesh in three simple steps:

1. We send you an invite text message once a week with a time and place. You then decide if you want to go that week, no pressure!

2. Open the link and click "yep" or "nope"

3. Show up with a smile and have fun!

We pair you at local Coffee Shops :)

A few more details:

We send out the messages on Wednesday and send you a reminder on Friday at 5pm if you click "yep."

You will get the photos of your group at 8:30am on Saturday. If at any time something comes up, no problem, just cancel before 11:59pm on Friday with no penalty.

The connections last ~hour. Then, the coffee shop turns into a pumpkin

Great resource, need outdoor areas.

Hello and thank you for this resource!
I have only had one encounter. It was great to meet new people but the level of noise inside the coffee shop was so high that we could not hear each other. It would be great to meet in places that have outdoor sitting too.

I'm so glad you were able to use Mesh! Sorry about the noise levels! We have a variety of coffee shops that you may be invited to. About 65% of our coffee shops have an outdoor area! We will continue to come up with solutions to make your connections even better!

Good idea on paper, poor experience so far

This app is an excellent idea…but my experiences haven’t been the best. I’ve had the same location four times in the last five weeks and each time it has given me only two other people in the group. Once it was both people not making it which leaves just me and twice only one other person showed up. I understand stuff happens so no hate there, but it makes one-on-one sessions kinda awkward and that’s not the vibe I want from this app.

Meanwhile, my friends have had new locations every week and have had full groups. I could just be unlucky, but so far the app hasn’t been that great for me. They also imply a penalty for no-showing but they don’t talk about what the penalty is.

Thanks for the feedback! We are very new so we appreciate all the feedback that helps us make Mesh the best possible! We've added some new locations and we are working on more variety with all the locations!

We started out have users self report when people no showed-- but most people don't report. So we are added a check in feature! The next week or so we will add a whole bunch of things to discourage no shows!

Sorry that you have gotten the short end of the stick. Most of our users are getting the experience that your friends are having. We hope you give us another try and experience the spontaneity of Mesh! If you find it better feel free to update your review :)
