Best app I have purchased
This is without a doubt, the best app I have ever purchased using the app store or for any of my Macs. I have a 1TB+ flac server of every CD I own and loads of legally downloaded and shared music (Dead, WSP, Phish, etc. etc.) No app I have tried has been as powerful and accurate for fixing meta data as this one. I’m pretty careful when I rip now, but when I did the bulk of my library (all with XLD, and some back in 2001 on a Wintel machine with EAC) there were problems all over the place. I was able to clean up everything and re-sync my LMS server, Twonky server and Plex server in only 3 sessions. I would give this app 10 stars if I could. I just hope it stays this good.
For directly managing the metadata for my music library this tool has been really useful. The tool for automatically finding album artwork is great. I have been getting that updated on many tracks that did not have it, so artwork will display correctly on the screen in my car (BMW iDrive). The process is faster than in iTunes and results in the data being correctly embedded in the music file. The developer seems responsive - a recent bug causing a crash was addressed quickly.
The BEST tagger for Macs
I’ve been hunting for a tagging application to tweak my 1.5TB collection of music for ages and my search is over now that I’ve found Metadatics! I am very particular about how I tag my music (especially my large collection of live shows). With this app I can quickly and powerfully tag things so I can find them fast and efficiently in iTunes. I’ve you’re looking for a great tagger on the mac, look no further!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
