Description
If you build you own movie library in iTunes, then you want it to look perfect. Imagine having all of the information about a movie at hand - actors, release date, directors, overview etc. And of course you want nice looking cover arts for your library. MetaMovie brings all this to your movies. Just drop your movie files on the movie list, start the search and then you need but one click to bring all the Information to your movies. The tagged movies look great in iTunes and on your Apple TV. MetaMovie supports the iTunes friendly .mp4 and .m4v file formats (MKV is not supported).

Great app needs an update
Thsi is a great app. Easyly 5 stars if the below issue is fixed. It has a lot of great features and makes quick work of tagging files. However the album art size has changed in Catalina. When I tag files the arttwork appears blank in the TV app. I have manyally resized the artwork then reapplied it using the info tool in the TV app. I have fornd that an artwork resolution of 1920 × 1080 seems to work. Hopefully this app will get an update soon so that the artwork works correctly.
Great! Need some future enhancement suggestions
Love MetaMovie! Been using it for a few years. My favorite features besides search include selecting from a variety of available covers, being able to override suggested Genres and the Release date. In future releases, suggest adding 4K to the available formats. Add Approved and TV ratings to the Rating field. Use the label “Overwrite” under the Movie List action items at the bottom.
Really great...except doesn't provide chapters
Unfortunately, I can't give it 5 stars becuase they've left the chapterDB functionality in place even though that site has been down since the beginning of 2019. I loved this feature.
