Mr. Longbottoms ,

Like being there but with caveats.

Meteors aren't common occurrences. But it'd be amazing if this app had some Easter eggs. Such as an increased meteor frequency during natural meteor showers that perhaps match the actual/typical/average frequency of the corresponding shower. Another cool thing would be a wider or adjustable field of view and a sky that moves.

Those would truly deal the experience as actually watching a meteor shower!

Otherwise it's not a bad app. It's a lifelike app in regards to everyday meteor frequency. Will open this up on a few dates where we're stuck inside.

Beautiful and simple

I love this app so much. The other reviewers must really not understand what this app is about. It's a simple night sky with shining stars and the occasional shooting star. It's beautiful, magical and relaxing. No in app purchases, no ads, nothing but a beautiful night sky. I wish people would appreciate the beauty and simplicity of this app. I use stellarium on my iPhone a lot, but unfortunately you can't turn off all the star names and you can't watch shooting stars. This app is perfect for me and I highly recommend it. I'd also really love to see this on my Mac on the big screen! Thank you for making a great app! ^^*

Good concept additions required

Its a nice concept. Didn't see a meteor yet though. Developer should add an option to play our music. Secondly add some nightly sounds like crickets or wind (unless this is meant to be in space) ad variations in the stars and add options like nebulas and planets moons etc
