MetricMe was designed for those who already know what health and fitness metrics are important to them, but want a simple way to track their progress. It not only keeps your entries organized, but offers a host of analytics, graphs, and goal setting features to help gauge your success.

Metrics can be created based on the following categories:
- Bodyweight Exercises (pullups, pushups, handstand pushups…)
- Weightlifting Exercises (bench press, squat, deadlift, power clean…)
- Distance Exercises (running, sprinting, swimming, cycling...)
- Timed Workouts (CrossFit WODs, 5K run, P90X…)
- Timed Rounds or Sets (plank holds, boxing rounds)
- Measurements (weight, body fat percentage, waist measurement…)
- Self-Assessments (mood, energy level, sleep quality...)
- AMRAP (as many rounds as possible of a workout in a specified time constraint)

You can build Routines or Groups off of the metrics you're tracking to ensure you don't miss anything.

All data is stored on your device for better performance and to maintain functionality without an internet connection. You can export your records into a readable, spreadsheet document (CSV).

MetricMe supports both the Standard (pounds/inches) and metric (kilograms/centimeters) systems.

This is a FANTASTIC app

It does exactly what I want, with no silly graphics or games or points.

It lets me customize everything important to my taste, without imposing unnecessary restrictions (e.g., having to fill out a certain field). It doesn't go overboard with UI design or customization but lets you pick your theme color.

It works reliably.

There are no obnoxious ads - just a single friendly pop up saying that if I want to track unlimited metrics, please upgrade (and I did).

This is one of the best apps I've seen (absolutely the best workout tracking app). I've looked for fitness/workout tracking apps before, and never been able to find a great one. They all had quirky designs or weird features (ads, gamification with ads and rewards, etc). This made my day.

Minor notes: a user should be able to access in app purchases on demand (usually through settings). When I got the pop up about upgrading, I automatically dismissed it (reflex) but then I decided to upgrade and couldn't figure out how to access in app purchases. I just waited until I hit the limit on metrics, but you should always let the user give you money. :)

Also, I'd consider upping the price to 1.99. Or tier the metrics (0.99 for 15 metrics, 1.99 for 16+). I would have happily paid that for an app that actually works as desired, and been glad to give the money to you.

Awesome for workout logging

I downloaded a few other apps before I settled on this one. This is an unobtrusive program with a clean interface. The free version allows you to log 7 metrics, which is plenty if you are doing a starting strength routine. If you want to keep track of more, it's 99 cents, but it's worth it if you want to log things like biking or running as well. The estimated 1rm and % chart makes it easy to plan your next workout and you can set individual goals for every health metric. If you want to get really fancy you can graph your progress for each metric in the app, or output the data to excel.

I think this is a very well thought out and effective app. It will be replacing my composition notebook.

Superbly practical and essential.

This is the only app I’ve used in the past 5 years to record my strength training exercises. It’s very simple to use, yet also very flexible.

I’ve searched far and wide for anything close to MetricMe that allows you to tailor it to custom needs. The ease of user input is probably my favorite feature. Followed by customization of creating and labeling exercises, as well as grouping custom workout routines together. The graph outputs of data is also very clear and concise.

I’ve been waiting for years for an update and also for this to be officially available on the App Store again. I’m so happy to see that it’s back again. I look forward to more updates soon!

Wow, a super long-time user. Thanks for the praise!
