I for one I’m pretty new to this app but I appreciate the fact that this app has a positive anonymity you can send money to others without putting on all your information. For example a hairdresser did your hair and you may not want them to have all types of information so you can send them this money through the app or maybe it’s a one time transaction and you don’t want to go through hardships with private information so I think Mezu has really hit the mark on straight to the point money sending between acquaintances family members or friends

Honestly the worst customer “care” and app I have ever used
I used Mezu once a few months ago. Loading my bank info, debit card info and personal info was easy. I had a friend send me money. Then was told I needed to be verified because they are concerned with security. So, they’re SO concerned about fraud/ security, but not when it comes to putting money into the app. After emailing 4 times a day for 3 weeks, attaching pictures of my ID’s over 20 times.
I was “verified”. Once I got the money in my account, I deleted it and told anyone who would listen about how awful their customer service is and how unbelievably irritating it was to get access to my money.
Today, someone sent money to me via Mezu by mistake. I went to withdraw it and what a surprise... I need to be verified AGAIN! I can’t even send the money back to her. No response from customer service, no surprise there. I guess I have another month long battle on my hands just to get $100 out of this worthless excuse for an app

Okay so I was at a festival in Cleveland and a rep approached me and told me about the app. She handed me a card for a free $5 and if I installed it I would get it and I would get $5 for each referral. I was like boom this is dope it’s like a new cashapp...wrong. First of all, they literally asked for every single piece of personal information, they literally needed EVERYTHING even a picture of my photo ID. That was weird off rip. I never got my $5 for downloading it and the two people I referred to the app didn’t get their $5 nor did I get my $10 for their referral. So all in all I’m owed $15 and haven’t seen one penny. When I contact customer care they send a stupid message via app and then I can’t access the app because it’s glitching and by the time it stops being stupid the message is “gone”...y’all ask for my personal info, get ALL my stuff and then don’t pay out on a promise?! That’s called fraud and false advertisement. Stick to cash app or Venmo
