Ruettgers Gallery for Ancient Coins in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Flip over each rare object for a detailed view in beautiful high-resolution photography of both sides of these miniature works of art that tell the tales of emperors and city-states. A timeline feature ranging from 650 BC to AD 375 puts the ancient coins in their historical and political context, and each coin has complete information on materials (gold, silver, bronze, and electrum), mottos, and making.
