Lacking documentation and support
While the mi.1 hardware is near “magical” in its ease of use and simplicity, the software component leaves a bit to be desired, mainly any sort of instructions and explanations. There is no onscreen or web help nor any manual provided withe hardware except for how to upgrade the firmware. While several synths I own were up and running immediately, others were not, yet nowhere to go to ask why not. I wrote to the developer (apparently in Japan) but had no response. Their official website is no help either. I really want to love this device and it sure is technologically sound and a great bargain, but the developer MUST provide documentation and some sort of support and better customer relations. Step it up Quicco!
New firmware is great!
The new firmware with the Apple BLE MIDI support is great, now both iOS and Mac OS X find and connect seamlessly to the device with no separate app necessary. I’m using with my old Roland RS-9 from across the room with no wires to trip over!
Bluetooth signal not showing up and software will not update to version 2
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
