Microphone Voice Recorder-Pro 4+

I was having some issues with the app a month or so ago and wanted to post a follow-up review, I also have a technical question for the developer or whoever might know.

Ok, so question is… If I hook up an external microphone to my phone will the app record through the external mic or am I only able to record vocals with my phone’s built in mic?

Follow up: The developer last time responded very promptly to my review and gave me some much needed info that I didn’t have before. I use this app almost daily to study singing and develop my voice. It has been one of the most useful tools and has so much to offer as a tool to further advance my skills. I love this app!

To quickly resolve these situations, first I would like to clarify a few points: 1. What devices and headphones do you use and on what OS version. 2. Please describe the process of how exactly you record and export an instrumental track with vocals. 3.After recording, can you hear two tracks in the application? 4. At the time of export, did you not press the M (mute) button on the audio track that is missing? or perhaps the S (solo) button was pressed on one of the tracks? In order to export both tracks, you must not have either of these buttons pressed. 5. Does the crackling sound always appear? You need to try reconnecting the headphones again and also try changing the delay to a higher one in the application settings (Press the settings button and select the latency item) We would also like to remind you that we recommend using wired headphones, they always provide more accurate and high-quality result when recording and playing back. Thank you in advance for the information provided.Update for your request: You can connect external microphones and you can also use them for recording in the app. But usually after connecting an external microphone, you need to go into the application settings and click on the “Microphone selection” item and select the external microphone there.

Edit:App is great but I have a tiny glitch that I would love if it could be fixed there’s one recording that doesn’t have a name but everytime I click play or try to delete it,it kicks me off the app but if anyone else is having that problem just scroll all the way down and back up and it will disappear until the next time you exit out then you have to do it again

The app is great, it’s sounds almost very professional when you record, however there needs to be quite a few adjustments.

First, when editing and trimming your music, the app doesn’t have an “undo” button, so when you accidentally trim too much music, you can’t get it back. This is quite the inconvenience because it prolongs the entire process. Also, when editing, if something is a little offbeat, the app doesn’t allow you to shift 2 recordings to align them perfectly. This makes you have to trim, and even when you trim a very small amount, there’s no way of telling if it’s perfect.

Second, why is the app charging me to record more than 3 recordings + microphones? It would be more profitable if We could record unlimited recordings for free without the access to the extra stuff.

Overall i like the app and it’s purpose but it does need some work. I recently recorded a song on the app, had both the vocals and instrumentals and when trying to record the backing vocals, ended up somehow removing the main vocals without any warning or message asking me if I’m sure. Those vocals are now gone. These inconveniences make the app very hard to work with.

Add the function of undoing steps . when editing, as well as add additional requests for rewriting tracks, in order to insure users against losing files.
