  • Power Point on the Move

    Communicationoracle

I have used PowerPoint presentations throughout my life as an educator. Microsoft has consistently updated and upgraded features and templates which make it very easy to create professional content quickly in very attractive formats that include embedded videos and music. Additionally, the phone app is easy to use so that I can take my work anywhere and create on the fly. It is still one of the best media to make impactful presentations in person or by sharing them virtually.

It is much easier to use PowerPoint on the telephone. I mean the iPhone or then it is on the computer so make the computer little user-friendly too because if he was just running and running and running and going crazy much much easier on the iPhone.

  • This is the same I said about Microsoft Word PowerPoint hasn’t changed it all

However, with new iOS updates on iPhones and iPads, the design has changed drastically. I give it 12 or 12 then 10 out of 10, which is far more better than the other.

  • Why Get Rid Of Full Screen?

    sonrisa244

I’ve used the PowerPoint app on iPhone for years and really appreciate its convenience and overall design. However, a recent update seems to have removed the ability to view slides in full screen when turning the phone sideways. Now, slides only display vertically in a small portion of the screen — maybe 1/4 of the screen size — which makes reading any text extremely difficult. This has made the app far less user-friendly, especially when reviewing presentations on the go.The pinch-to-zoom feature is still there, but it’s clunky and doesn’t provide a good alternative to the full-screen landscape view. I also noticed there’s still no option to AirPrint slides directly from the app, which would be incredibly helpful. Please consider bringing back the full-screen landscape mode and adding AirPrint support. These seem like basic features that many users would benefit from. I do still like the app overall, but these issues have made it much harder to use effectively.

  • Deleted all of my notes even though it on autosave

I bought this for med school and during my lecture periods I have been adding my notes to this app. It is on autosave so I expect my notes to be saved. They were saved when I looked yesterday but looking after my lunch break I am seeing that none of my notes from the last 3 days are here, including the ones I took just this morning. Very upsetting and hindering to my studying.

  • Keeps asking to allow notifications

    1. NO MEANS NO. I told the software “No, please do not enable push notifications” and it KEEPS ASKING ME if I wanna enable. Shut up, I said no, accept it and move on. 2. WHY DOES POWERPOINT WANT TO ACCESS NOTIFICATIONS ANYWAY? Like, guys, what? You’re PowerPoint, stay in your lane! 3. I tried to add a video URL into a slide but I had to use the desktop version to actually do it. Why? You want me to enable notifications but you can’t be bothered to put all the features available on the desktop version into the iOS version? Do better microslop.
