This App & Developer Get 5 Stars!!

When I first got the app it didn't work as expected, so I gave it one star. Then I decided to contact the developer. He not only got back to me in timley manner, we went back and forth with my issues until he figured out the problem

Turns out that Apple has an issue with this types of plugins and it wouldn't recognize that I work in 48k.

Jan figured it out and within 2 days had an update with a sample rate selector. So I download the lastest version and Viola it works perfectly. I have nothing but good things to say about the App and it's developer Jan!!

UPDATED: Developer Reached out and help sort the issue out.

The developer reached out and helped straighten the issue out. Seems like Catalina still has some bigs, I couldn't get this workig until I restarted the machine. After a restart it appears to be working aok!

Apologies for the misunderstanding, and very happy to see the ability to record MIDI from MIDI FX working again in Logic!

Developer Response ,

Tempo slows to a crawl

It works as expected, so that's good.

But, it slows my project (tempo) down to a crawl. Without this plugin, my project plays at full tempo.

I watched the CPU usage to see if there was an extreme change when using this plugin, because that's what I thought the problem was at first, but the CPU load stays the same, so no apparent change that I can see from a graphical read out.

The slowdown I am experiencing may have somethig to do with the app, or it may be my sound card. Or, it may be something else. I am not sure. I'm not an app developer.

I will see if there is any other way I can use this app without it slowing down my project. If there is ever an update that resolves this issue, I would give it 5 stars. But, as it is right now - I can't.
