I love this app.

Great , small midi app. Easy to use, no ads, just great performance.

I want to love it

At the moment this review is not necessarily a negative on this app…

I am running into an issue with the PreSonus Studio One DAW. I can record midi with the the QWERTY keyboard as a controller.

When I switch to using midiBox, with same setup, it will trigger sounds and I can program the software to trigger the sounds based on midi notes generated by midiBox. However, when I try to record midiBox midi, it fails.

Why it triggers perfectly as a keyboard controller but does not record is a mystery. It could be an issue with midiBox or a problem with StudioOne. Because I can record with QWERTY, I know that I am doing it properly.

I would be curious if the developer could talk with PreSonus to get to the bottom of it. Another possible consideration is I do not have the latest version of Studio One so that would be another area to explore on my end… though at an expense.
