Description
The iOS companion app for your Arturia Brute synthesizer. MIDIBrute enables you to configure all of your Brutes software only features from your iOS device.
MIDIBrute is especially useful when using an iOS Device together with your music equipment without a Mac or PC on hand to quickly change your Arturia Brute synthesisers settings.
Universal Application
MIDIBrute runs on your iPhone as well as on your iPad. So no need to buy twice.
MIDI Clock Support
MIDIBrute can send a MIDI clock signal to your synthesizer. In case you're unable to sync with something else you can at least configure BPM.

Love it, works great
You’ll need to update the MicroBrute’s firmware to 1.0.4.* for step length (at least) to work, but that’s Arturia’s fault. I can’t find a way to save/restore sequences with the app, not that the MB’s sequencer is all that great anyway.
Thrilled
Let me first say this: I own the MicroBrute SE White, and this app works with it, though the description says otherwise.
The developer told me that they say the SE's aren't supported, because they didn't test it with a SE, therefore doesn't want to falsely advertise the app.
I'm very happy with this app. It works like a charm, and it cuts having to use a computer out of the equation. I can see this being a great tool for a live setup. In addition, I switched the sequencer to Hold via the app, unplugged all usb connection, and powered off the Brute. Then I turned the Brute back on to see if the sequencer setting was saved, and to my surprise, it was. Well worth the money spent.
Orphan app for an Orphan synth
I just bought a brand new Arturia Micro Brute synth and found out that Arturia isn’t really supporting this model anymore. The Arturia Micro Brute Connection software for Mac won’t run on the newer versions of the OS. They want you to use the generic MIDI Connection software instead. Well there are features missing in the GUI of that software, most notably the sequencer latching.
You could dig around and find out the CC number for this function and send it over OR you could buy this app and be done with it easy-peasy. I was worried that the app wouldn’t work on the latest iPad iOS because it hasn’t been updated by the developers in 3 years, but it worked like a champ on my iPad Pro running 13.5.1 iOS. Now I don’t have to haul the synth to the computer every time I want to make a change. It’s super convenient and works without a hitch. I highly recommend this app. Please don’t abandon it.
