miEbooks, developed by ITSI, is an interactive e-reader that enhances users’ reading and studying experience. The app enables users to add notes and sketches to specific sections of an e-book, make highlights, generate summaries from highlighted text for study purposes, receive additional multimedia resources, and more. Once downloaded, all books and resources are available offline and annotations are backed-up whenever users connect to the Internet or Wi-Fi within their institution. The miEbooks app is used by schools, tertiary institutions and corporate organisations for full-scale e-learning implementation, as well as individuals who are looking for a flexible and feature-rich e-book solution.

Great features, Poor optimization.

Our school recently started using this program and it works beautifully on Windows and Mac devices, but for some reason the iOS version renders textbooks extremely slowly, well below 10 frames per second. This makes scrolling an incredibly unpleasant experience and results in eye strain. This would be an amazing app if this issue was resolved.

App gives me a headache

With the new update the app crashes every few minutes and if you minimize the app and go back into it, it just freezes and you have to constantly exit and restart the app if the device goes off.
