Mightier uses the power of video games to help kids 6-14 build emotional strength and resilience. Mightier helps kids who have a tough time with tantrums, feelings of frustration, anxiety, or even a diagnosis like ADHD learn to manage their emotions.

Kids wear a heart rate monitor while they play that controls the difficulty in the game. As their heart rates go up, the game gets harder to play. Through the program, kids learn skills to bring their heart rate down and earn rewards in the games. Over time, kids can draw on those skills in life outside the game.

The app includes access to all Mightier games, an online hub for parents to access a dashboard of the child's progress, ongoing one-on-one support from licensed clinicians, and tools and information to help parents navigate their parenting journey.

This is just a really great program. The app is very robust with a number of fun games for the kids to get into. The games are very diverse and has multiple games for just about anyone. I also love that new games can be earned as time passes. It always keeps it fresh.

The best part, however, is the band the kids wear to track their heart rate and how it effects the game. My kids really understood how they felt when stressed and did their best to deal with that. It started to translate into “real life” situations too!

To top it off, I had some very valuable chats with our assigned coach, giving us insights into a number of areas. It’s been really helpful.

Highly recommend this app and program! It’s very comprehensive with a clear goal of bettering your kids. They are going to play games anyway, so why not have it be really productive time too?

14 yr old with anger outbursts

Normally I’m arguing to get off the games but now the opposite is true. This teaches breathing techniques to lower stress. My son had no idea that his pulse was rising right before an anger outburst. He is learning to recognize the symptoms and cut them off. My only dislike is the fact that the tablet case is geared for young kids.

We love this program. My daughter struggles with anxiety and needs help calming down when her heart gets racing. She gets into the zone starting with the warmup and loves playing the games, especially gelato flicker.
