Mila Air 4+

I love my Mila purifier so much so that I plan on buying another one for upstairs. Shipping took a long time bc it was on backorder due to availability. But once I received the Mila purifier I was really excited to use it. The app was amazing and it allows users to keep up with readings in a particular room; especially while cooking (I have a gas stove). However, this last update to the app has completely made the app useless to me. Now there is no data showing and it keeps saying “tap to retry” to see each individual reading. However when you select tap to retry it either provides the data or doesn’t. I’m not even confident that the readings are accurate bc I knew what the average readings were daily and now (if they display) are much lower. Yes, you can still control the purifier manually on the machine but you will not see any of the readings. Customer service has been good at following up and asking for more details but it’s going on weeks now that the app does not work most of the time. Although there are clear issues with debugging the software, I still love the purifier. But it does make me cautious about what the actual readings are even though you’re told the purifier will still work on its own recognizing when it needs to adjust the fan accordingly. I can say that the fan has not adjusted automatically on its own so I doubt it is sensing when the air is polluted at medium to high levels.

Sorry to hear you've had some hiccups with the app, although your fans should automagically adjust depending on your home's air quality. Have you share that with our Care Squad as well? As someone who suffers from two auto immune diseases, migraines and asthma, Mila has been the greatest investment I have ever made. I have been looking into a air-purifier system for months. Due to my illnesses, I have to have a HEPA filter, problem is, several filters do not get as high as Mila’s (their “Over Reactor” is a HEPA 14, thats hospital grade amazingness) which has been such a help with my asthma. A lot of the others do not have a purchase-able “Sock” for their filters to help with pet hair (proud cat parent) like Mila does. Not to mention many air purifiers claim to be “whisper quiet” but in video reviews sound like a vacuum on the lowest setting, Mila is so quiet we wonder if she is even there sometimes! And the programable fan option to sound like “white noise” at night has been so lovely it has put my sound app to bed all while keeping my air perfect at night. So not only was there a clear winner in my big departments, it also runs off this easy to use app that can help me track air quality as well as temperatures of my home! (The Mila app helped us detect a possible problem with our thermostat!) So all and All, Mila has been the greatest addition to my home and I hope yours too! My parents are thinking of one for theirs!

It is rare that an electronic device hits all three major things that make a great product, but Mila delivers on all of them, so consistently and with a level of excellence that is awe-inspiring. The app itself is fantastic. It’s easy to change settings, see patterns in indoor and outdoor air quality, and get notified when there’s a sharp change in AQI. I particular like the manual settings for Whitenoise and Sleep. It’s almost like you have an additional sound machine along with an air filter. The software is so perfectly integrated with the hardware in ways like this.

Customer service is always excellent - their staff really cares about the customer and works with you if any issues arise with friendliness and professionalism.

I know it might be hyperbolic talking about an air filter in this way, but darnit, it’s just that good of a device. You will not regret getting one.
