I have tried many apps for tracking Milage for my consulting business and to satisfy my accountant. This app is absolutely the best I have found. I have used it for a month and just bought the year subscription because it is that good. You must pay a reasonable price to use the report function and be able to send your trip info to your computer but well worth it and less expensive than other apps I have tried. Also you can leave it turned on and running in the background without running down the battery and turn it off when riding in another car such as a rental. When you are driving in the car, plug it in because it will use battery due to GPS. And if in another car just switch it off or delete that trip after you finish it. And did I say customer support is Fantastic!!! All trips are stored so no need to worry about losing your phone. Easy to use. You just have to remember to take your phone when you drive your car! If you need to track your Milage for accounting purposes this is the app for you!

The developer of VehiCal stopped updates, so I've been trying MileWiz for the past two months. The GPS auto tracking of distance is convenient BUT as stated, it quickly depletes the battery. Another problem is their speed setting for detecting/assuming driving is way too low. I think I read somewhere that the setting is 3 mph. Well, after the first time I drove with the app on, I found several earlier enteries. ??? I walk much faster than 3 mph, which the dates of those earlier entries correspond to locations of my walks. So, SilverWiz LLC, please consider allowing the user to set the speed for when the app should consider as driving mode AND adding the Location Services option "While using the app" instead of just Never and Always. (Note: with the app Always on, it probably tracks runners and bikers mileage too as they travel faster than 3 mph.) For now, I have to turn the app off after driving and then remember to turn it on before driving. Might as well go back to manual entries...

Originally this app worked great. The only part I didn’t like was the year end report did not have a way to add my company name. It was just a looonnngggg list of my business trips but didn’t state my company name at the top. THEN..... about a month ago it started breaking my trips into a ton of small ones and mileage was missing! I could drive 50 miles one way and get 10 notices from the app and only half the mileage was there if you add them all up. I guess the app was crashing en route. Contact support and they were quick to respond, however now I have to jump through some hoops to get it going again by signing up for a syncbits account to keep my data and then deleting the app and reinstalling. If I’m paying a monthly fee I would expect the app to work correctly. BTW, this is the first review of an app I’ve ever done which shows how irritated enough I am with it that I would write my first review.

This app does what you want it to do! It makes it easy to manage all trips you make with your phone. It is easy to edit the trips if a different car/driver goes with the trip, easy to add an expense amount such as gas, and easy to delete irrelevant trips you make with your phone (eg, in a golf cart). It makes a difficult to remember chore easy!Update: 1 year later still tracking my miles for my biz with this app. Something that I doubt I could do the old fashioned way of pen and paper... certainly not for this long.

100% Very Easy-to-Use!...The App Automatically Tracks your Trips & I have found this App to be one of the best of all time in the Mileage Tracking App Department! I'm excited to be starting a job as an Uber-X Driver next week and with this app to help me keep track of all my trips, (whether they'll be business-related or personal-related); I'm sure I'll see some real savings, come tax time, thanks to MileWiz! One caveat: I am quite new to the app, so this is purely a first impression! Try it for yourself!

My employer reimburses us for mileage we put on our personal vehicle for work related purposes. I was looking for a better way to keep track of those miles than on a multitude of little pieces of paper, this app turned into just the thing. In fact, it worked so well for my work mileage & I figured out how to use it for charity mileage I now use the app for that purpose. I am looking forward to an easier time when doing my taxes next year.
