I’ve been searching for an app to replace what used to be direct thru Apple and was hoping this would be it…. As far as using the app to create the book it’s easier than others I’ve tried the past few years, once you get the correct photo file format which is not well explained on the Mimeo website/help section. But I was disappointed in the quality of the book. It was a bit sloppy with streaks in the print on multiple pages and corners that weren’t tight.

I’m certified as a professional photographer in my retirement after a lifetime with corporate Wall St firms but indulge purely as a passionate pursuit while traveling around the world. For years I’ve had my travel and lifestyle photography published by Apple because their product was superb. When Apple discontinued the photo production business I had to find a quality alternative only to realize MIMEO Photos was Apple’s photo book producer! I stayed with them and now after a dozen or two more of photo books with them can say that you won’t get a more professional product (and not just photo books) for the money! Their online help is instantaneous with whatever project you’re working on…..if needed at all as it’s entirely intuitive.

Because my mother has never quite figured out FaceBook, Instagram, email or texts, I collect up my family’s photos each month, and make her a book of all the images we’ve been sharing. She absolutely loves them, and they allow her to stay connected with grandkids, as well as her own adult children.The quality is always good, and being able to design the layout to make the important photos big so she can see them easily is wonderful.Thank you Mimeo Photos, and thanks too for your excellent online chat for problem solving when placing an order. You’ve helped me out several times, and I’ve always been well satisfied.

I recently made a goal to create photo books for my family. I choose Mimeo to create my books because their large selection of beautiful templates, the ease of the program, and the ability to use your photos on your computer or phone. The first book I made was of my grandfather. The template I used was so beautiful and the quality of the printed pictures were amazing. I made each of my family members a book and they all cried and told told me how thankful they are for such a beautiful photo book. I highly recommend using Mimeo to help document your photo memories.
