Mimi is designed from the ground up to enable super fast uploading of images from your device to your Micro.blog hosted blogs.
Use Mimi to upload a set of photos for making your blog post. Maybe a road trip, or a party, or memories of a special day.
* Select photos, tap the airplane icon and start the uploads.
* Choose the export format, Markdown, or HTML.
* Choose the image upload size. Small, Optimum, or Full.
* Easily switch between any of your blogs at any time.
* Use the share sheet to post with your favorite post editor, or the Micro.blog app.
* Access your recent uploads for reference and export.
* Add alt text to your uploaded photos for export and use in your blog posts.
* Mimi offers auto-renewing subscriptions for you to support ongoing development. A subscription is not required to use the core features of Mimi, but does offer access to additional features, including:
* Generating alt text for an image using OpenAI.

- Add photos to collections from the list of recent uploads. Tap and hold a single photo, or use the "…" menu on en entry that has a batch of photos to add them all.
- Delete a photo from a collection. When browsing a collection, tap and hold on a photo to see the option to delete.
- Create a collection. Just tap "+" on the collections list.

More flexible use of photos
This makes makes photos uploaded to micro.blog way easier to reuse. I love that the alt text, if entered using Mimi, is saved for later too. The app also makes it dead easy to avoid the default micro.blog resizing and compression for photos. If you photo blog with micro.blog, this is the app to get. I only miss not being able to send a copy of a photo to Mimi via the Sharesheet.

This app transforms how you can use micro.blog and makes it super easy to upload groups of photos. I use this app frequently when traveling or events. Not only is it fast but it is very reliable and it is super easy to share the markdown or HTML to an app like Drafts to complete the post. 🤩
