I don’t want to pay for monthly subscription for some mind mapping app out there for the basic function I need. I know most of the app companies focus on mobile apps nowadays. Therefore, there are tons of free mobile app for mind mapping. For certain event planning, I found laptop works so much better than mobile phone or tablet. I did some research, most of the desktop apps are either expensive or not user friendly. I downloaded MindPreview, it’s very intuitive. I saw one review mentioned that there’s no tutorial. I think if you never used mind mapping software before, you definitely need some sort of tutorial. I have used many different other mind mapping apps for my work and personal life, therefore, no tutorial for this free app is no problem at all.

As a life Engineering coach, I always use mindmap to shows my clients the clear image of their problems and solutions.
I have tried lot of apps (like iMindmap,Mindjet, iThoughts, MindMaple, MindNode,….)Some of these apps are too expensive
and full of features i have never used, some of them are waste of money!
So let me describe the pros and cons:
Pros:
1- Very eye catching and user friendly app.
2- Works on Mac smoothly without any crash.
3- Support drog and drop , themes and various output formats like pdf, png,…
Cons:
1-The app's interface is somehow outdated and there is not any option for making the new topic or
subtopic just by using the trackpad (I mean just clicking on the topic and drog out the new branch)

Anyways, it is absolutely free if you dont need clouding and again, it is Amazing!
