Please don’t ask for my number and dob just to see my spot in line. If you can tell me that no third party accesses my data besides the restaurant and you in the developer response then I’ll happily delete this.

Update: They claim they do not, but there is no way for me to delete this so I’m just going to leave 4 stars. I still think this should be a web app as the other reviewers have said as well. Hope the devs take this feedback to heart

use it a lot for business meal

Super easy to use it at first time. I always need to book a table for my business meal with potential client. This app helps me a lot to make the reservation advance and don’t need to wait long time. My client like the feature too.

Force to install the app & ask my identity

Like others said, the link in the text message will ask you to download the app. And on the app page, it requires you to sign up, with your phone(I stopped there and deleted it immediately. So I don’t know whatelse information app asks)

Also saw some reviews asking for the web page. As a tech guy, I can tell you it doesn’t require much work to build a simple web page that shows how many folks are ahead of you. The app owner forces users to download and register so they can have more App Installs and Monthly Active Users. :(

The phone number is required to locate your position in the waitlist, display all your waitlist and reservation in one place (instead of multiple web pages), and ensure stream-lined communication with the restaurant. While we understand that a webpage might be simpler, the app offers much more, including deals, promotions, and other rewarding content that make it a valuable tool beyond just waitlists and reservations.
