Reviews
Suzan J.

The Mira app is fantastic. It gives you your fertility levels and even a number! It could not be easier or clearer than this. I've been using it for over 1 month now and I can't be without it anymore.

Lea

With Mira, I found out that my ovulation was much later in my cycle than most of the apps predicted. Really love it so far!

Orshina I.

It’s great to see how different hormones change throughout the cycle and get much more accurate results than your usual app-only cycle predictions.

Jessy T.

I've always had irregular cycles, and the Mira app is already helping me understand some aspects of my cycle I've never considered before.

Melissa B.

The app is so comprehensive, and I do enjoy entering my data, unlike other period tracking apps I use.

TTC? Try Mira!

We have been trying for over a year to get pregnant, and we tried every OPK you can buy, with no success. My doctor started talking about IVF being a good option for us, but I didn’t want to do that. My husband bought the Mira system, and we cycle tracked with it for two months just so we could see what was going on. We found that I ovulate earlier than the OPKs thought I should! After our two months of tracking, we started trying again and on our first try, I was pregnant! It also helped me feel like I knew what was going on with my body, as anyone who has been trying for a long time knows, you tend to feel like your body isn’t doing what it’s supposed to.
If you are looking at more invasive/ expensive methods because of “unexplained infertility,” I HIGHLY recommend trying Mira first!

Don’t waste your money

The premise of this device is great, and the hormone values themselves help with understanding my cycle. The issue is, the analyzer will repeatedly disconnect from my phone and not sync the data. I have contacted support repeatedly and each time get the same generic instructions, including to reset the analyzer. Even following all the steps they outline to check the connection, this sometimes works and sometimes does not. One day it will work perfectly, and the next the analyzer and my phone will not talk. It also likes to shut itself off and refuse to work when it still has 20% battery power, and I have also had instances where I’ve had to waste expensive wands because it throws error codes, or I get readings that make absolutely no sense (like my estrogen going from 150+ to less than 10 then back up to 150+ next wand). For an expensive device and expensive wands to use the device, they need to do better. I will add that I have an iPhone 12 mini, so my phone is not the problem with the synchronization.

EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: As I’ve explained in multiple support tickets. There are no other Bluetooth devices in the area. The analyzer screen is on. I have my phone sitting literally right next to it. But one day the analyzer works, and the next it does not. It’s not invalid readings showing up, it’s simply saying “analyzer disconnected” no matter what I do, and it’s at random.

Developer Response ,

Hi there! We are terribly sorry about your experience and it is not what Mira wants you to have! We completely understand how frustrating it can be. Your feedback is highly valued.
Please kindly notice that, in rare cases, there may be several factors that are affecting the way the Bluetooth is syncing:
· The Analyzer screen is not on while pairing.
· Too many Bluetooth devices around can compete for the signal.
· Sometimes the Bluetooth signal varies with direction and distance.
If the mobile phone is too far away from the analyzer, disconnection might be caused.
When an error or invalid reading shows up, this situation may be caused by chromatography failure, the problem is usually with the test wands but not the analyzer.
Errors may occur due to the following reasons:
1. There is a problem with that specific test wand.
2. The test wasn't performed correctly.
It is usually due to the urine sample didn't flow through the test wand correctly. Most of the time, it flows through too fast, resulting in an insufficient chemical reaction.
Please trust that it is our goal to help women to go through their fertility journey easier and smoother. We would like to do whatever can improve your experience. Please feel free to contact us via email support@miracare.com, we will always be there for you.

Like it but it’s not perfect…

I’ve been using this product for about a month now, and it’s great so far, but I agree with some other reviews that says it would be great if you could also track/graph BBT in the app. I’m using the wands that track LH and EG3…I would also say the app isn’t that great, as previous reviewers noted…I do like the graph and the score, but it would be great if the app gave you some sort of insight after your numbers come in (the way the Glow app does)…you have to go hunting and reading in the FAQs to find out what the scores mean…and I’ve tracked almost a whole cycle and I’ve gotten no notifications or anything…just the hormone test scores, which I have no clue what they mean…so I’m going to keep using it, as it was pricey…and hopefully we’ll get lucky!!

Edit. The mira support team is super helpful and nice. They’ve provided me with a ton of info to fill in the gaps. And I think this is my 3rd or 4th cycle using the device and it’s finally making some sense, and finally it was in line with my OPKs and the glow app. Biggest gripes right now are the incessant buy more wands ads on the screen every time I open the app. STOP! 😂. Love the charting.

Developer Response ,

Hi there! Thanks for keeping sharing with us! We are so glad that Mira is able to assist you in your fertility journey. We've launched a new version of the APP in mid-September, which contains the BBT in the chart. Thanks for trying our new APP. We'll make feedbacks about your concerns and keep improving Mira in the future. Meanwhile, we would like to offer more information for your reference.

1. Mira measures hormones to detect and predict ovulation. In contrast to OPK, Mira uses lab-graded technology which gives you your actual hormone levels, while OPK only does a "one line" vs. "two lines" estimation. Mira's AI learns your cycle, providing personalized ovulation prediction even for variable cycles. Your cycle information is automatically synced and analyzed by Mira, so you don't need to do any manual charting! Other OPK's detect ovulation off a static baseline LH. But every woman is different. So, it often leads to false positives or missed peaks, especially if you have variable or irregular cycles. OPK’s also can’t learn your cycle over time. Therefore, it's not recommended to compare our products with OPK products.

2. Our E3G level fluctuates from woman to woman and cycles to cycle. Generally, it will be around 10-100 during the follicular phase and rise to 100-640+ when close to ovulation. Because of the self-regulating effect of estrogen, the rise of E3G when close to ovulation is fluctuating. The Estrogen surge is normally 1-3 days earlier than the LH one. Meanwhile, the Estrogen peak is normally 0-2 days earlier than the LH one. After the ovulation, the E3G level will drop, and then there will be another surge in the luteal phase, which means your body is entering the non-fertile period.

3. Our hormone fluctuates from woman to woman and cycles to cycle. The pattern of the curve is more important than the absolute value. When ovulation happens, you should see a sudden increase in LH concentrations, although the peak value can vary greatly. To clarify, even if the LH levels are “low” but there is a sizable increase of the LH level, one can still be ovulating. Please feel free to contact us via support@miracare.com, we would like to do whatever works best for you. We always wish you the best of luck in your fertility journey!
