This app supplements the online version and is included with the MKSAP 17 Digital and MKSAP 17 Complete subscriptions. Simply log in with your ACP or MKSAP 17 username and password. If you need assistance setting up your account, visit ACP Online. Note that this app does not offer all online functionality, such as a search tool, custom quizzes, and the ability to submit for CME, MOC, and CPD credits. However, you can use your web browser to access all online functionality through the online version of MKSAP 17, which is included in your subscription to MKSAP 17 Digital. The online version is designed to adapt automatically to the screen size of your iPhone or iPad.
When you have completed enough work to earn CME credits, ABIM MOC points, Canadian MOC credits, and Australasian CPD credits, complete your submission from the online version. Your suggestions for future updates and enhanced features are welcome at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The new Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program® (MKSAP® 17) provides you with the most current and critical information in the core of internal medicine and its subspecialties so you can stay aware of what you need to know as a practicing physician in internal medicine today. MKSAP 17 consists of well-researched text sections and 1,200 exam-like multiple-choice questions along with hundreds of figures, charts, and tables to enhance your learning experience. MKSAP 17’s original, high-quality questions comprise patient-based clinical scenarios based on the latest evidence. Each question will challenge your decision-making, help you discover areas of strength, and target areas for you to update or acquire new knowledge. This app enables subscribers to MKSAP 17 Digital or MKSAP 17 Complete to read all of the text and answer all of the questions offline. When you are connected to the Internet, answers will sync automatically with the online version.
The publisher of MKSAP 17, American College of Physicians, is the largest medical specialty organization and the second-largest physician group in the United States. Ratings and Reviews
Also second the complaint that the app does not keep login. PLEASE add option to “stay signed in” even for a specific period of time. Also have option to start back up where you left off on questions AND to go ahead to next question without scrolling completely to the bottom...Went to look at reference range and now have to log in again and then find my question again.
Buggy but good content
It freezes every time you leave the app for the home screen or another app. Super annoying; you have to quit and reopen. I update the app and my iPad mini 4 as soon as updates are available, so I know that’s not my issue.
Content-wise it is very good, though not sure it’s worth it.
ACP is a large, well-funded organization. They should do better.
The content is top notch and the app is a joy to use on the iPad. Navigation makes perfect sense and tables and graphics are very well presented. The reader can easily go back and forth between questions, answers and comments, and chapters. The app is responsive and visually pleasing. Very well done!
