Ratings and Reviews
Works well with my Mac and TV
Had some troubles to get started but after loading the content it worked well.
Does not work at all on THIS Aplpe Silicon
I searched for an app to stream files, chose/downloaded this one on the strength of most of its reviews, and it's worked exactly once -- and that was only sortof. It is always glitching and lagging no matter how long you have waited for it to load the file -- which I could forgive -- but it also gatekeeps my other streaming apps. For example, MKPlayer used to be fine and I could default my mkv files to it -- but after installing this app, I lost my ability to set the default app to mkplayer for mkv files, and etc., and quicktime always tries to open every download. I'd call it a crappy side effect but it would have to have been done deliberately. Macbook Air A1, Ventura 13.2.1
Works great on Apple Silicon
This app really came in handy when I wanted to stream to my smart tv. It transcoded and streamed simultaneouly while sipping battery on my M1 macbook pro. A 90minute video process only took 12 percent of my battery to trancode and stream over wifi. The UI may seem intimidating, but you don't need to fiddle with anything besides the stream destination. The other options are just there for the savvy. Highly recommended.
