Mktbox is a beautifully designed stock and portfolio tracker combined with an industry leading AI research and news curation agent. Mktbox was created by a duo of hedge fund PMs who wanted a better way to manage and analyze their own investments on mobile. We built the tools we wished existed and are now excited to share them more broadly. *** Portfolio Tracking *** Mktbox is designed to be the home for all of your investment accounts. You can link accounts through Plaid, enter positions manually, or create simulated portfolios. Portfolios can be viewed individually or combined, giving you a complete picture of your investments in one place. For each position, you can analyze performance across any time horizon such as daily, weekly, monthly, or since purchase. We support multiple tax lots and provide detailed tracking at the transaction level, so you can understand how partial buys and sells have impacted your returns. We have also built our own performance system, allowing you to compare your portfolio in real time and historically against major indices like the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Dow Jones. Attribution is built in. If your portfolio is up 10%, you will be able to see exactly which positions contributed to that result and how it all adds up. Dividend tracking is also included, with visibility into income across time as well as upcoming announced and estimated payouts. *** AI-Powered Portfolio Insights *** We have integrated AI directly into the portfolio experience. Our system combines multiple models with real-time market data and our own internal logic to provide fast, contextual answers to your questions. Instead of manually digging through data, you can simply ask and get a response tailored to your portfolio. *** Stock and Market Tracking *** Even if you do not link a portfolio, Mktbox is designed to be a powerful stock tracking app. We have built a flexible home dashboard where you can maintain a primary list alongside additional watchlists. Across all of them, you can view real-time pricing, including pre-market and after-hours data. Within any list, you can analyze performance across all securities over any time period. This perspective is rare, but incredibly useful for understanding trends and relative performance. Each stock page includes real-time charts, key financial metrics, and deeper context. Rather than just showing a number, we help you understand what it means. For example, whether a P/E ratio is high or low relative to peers. We also provide financial history through proprietary charts, allowing you to quickly analyze trends in revenue, margins, and other key metrics. A mobile-friendly view of the income statement is included, along with year-over-year changes across major line items. AI is also embedded here, already aware of the stock you are viewing and ready to answer questions with up-to-date context. *** News *** We believe the current mobile experience for financial news is broken. Most sources are cluttered with ads, popups, and low-quality content. We built Mktbox to fix that. Our system uses AI agents to read and process articles from thousands of sources. This allows us to filter out irrelevant or poorly tagged content and generate concise summaries. The result is a clean, curated feed centered around the stocks you care about. You can also focus on individual stocks or specific publishers. We have also built a custom reader that strips away everything except the content itself. No ads, no popups, just a clean reading experience.

This app is very well thought out, with design language that is modern and unobtrusive while still offering pertinent info about stock/fund holdings. While the free version is completely sufficient, the pro features offer very useful additions that is well worth it for people who want to sync with their brokerage account automatically. Also, the developer was responsive with support and bugs in the app, which further shows active development in this app. Overall, I highly recommend this app!

This app has the potential to be amazing, but has a few key flaws. I hope they will be fixed soon because I really would like to use this app.1) Dividend total is off for all my holdings - seems like the June (last month) dividends are not reflected in the totals yet? If they're over a month delayed, that's a problem.2) At first, I couldn't figure out why my total return amounts (and balances) were off - this app doesn't take into account returns on dividends reinvested. There is no option to turn this on or off either. Most portfolios like mine reinvest the dividends automatically, generating further returns. This app calculates the returns on your buy orders only, and calculates dividends without returns. This is an essential feature that needs fixing.3) I can't figure out how to add a sell order for any of my holdings in my portfolio. I may be missing something here.4) Adding a setting to change amount of currency digits would be helpful. No option to show cents on my holdings, just whole dollars.

Hi Strizous - We're glad you're enjoying the app. Three stars is a tough rating given you seem to be very happy with the app except for some intricacies in how we handle dividends, but we're happy for the feedback!1) We just saw your email and will respond to get further details on what stock you seem to be getting incorrect dividend information for. We're assuming you entered your trade details manually (as opposed to linking your brokerage account), so just confirm you have the trade date correct and that it's before the ex-date of the dividend you're looking for, otherwise it won't show up for your holding. It's possible our data provider is missing dividend information for this security so we'll look into it for you when we get the details from you. 2) If you have a portfolio that automatically reinvests dividends, what is actually happening is your brokerage is making a new purchase of shares for you on the ex-div date. There would be no way for us to know at what price this purchase was executed at, and therefore it's impossible for us to exactly match up to the return you're seeing without getting more information. Can you try to input the new dividend purchases as new trade lots? This should match up to what actually happened in the portfolio and then the returns should also match up. 3) If you swipe left on any holding, you can delete it, which is effectively "selling" it. We don't support tracking sales, flows, or transactions at this point, just your current holdings. To truly support full portfolio analytics, we'd have to handle buys, sells, deposits, withdrawals, dividends, transfers, corporate actions, etc. All of those things would have to be inputted by the user. We tried to just build a really clean and beautiful way to track your current holdings on your phone.4) We show dollars and cents for any stock price as long as the share price is below $10,000. For the holdings information, we didn't think it made "cents" to crowd the UI with "cents". We'll shoot you an email tonight and go over the details you're seeing on the seemingly missing data. It does take a while for the app to refresh and update the accounts.After a discussion with the app developers i now understand that the issue i was having was due to Apple upgrades and not the app. I highly recommend using this app for tracking your investments

This has become my go to App for tracking my investment performance (used to use the Bloomberg App). It has an easy to use interface along with real time data and impressive time period return calculation options. My favorite part about it is that the App keeps evolving and getting better, the developers clearly understand what the user is looking for and make efforts to improve upon the product.
