Communities across the U.S. continue to suffer from over-policing, racial profiling and excessive use of force. Empowered by the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania, the Mobile Justice PA app is one way you can put a check on law enforcement misconduct wherever, whenever. With this app you can:
Record and submit incidents directly and securely to your local ACLU of Pennsylvania affiliate using your phone camera.
Get instant location alerts from fellow app users witnessing incidents nearby.
Know your rights when encountering or witnessing an incident with law enforcement, and access the ACLU's full library of "Know Your Rights" materials at the click of a button.
Keep up-to-date on local and statewide actions and events hosted by the ACLU.
Restore justice. Download our free app today.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

A critical app, but execution is lacking
OK, first of all... WHY ARE THERE SEPARATE APPS FOR EACH STATE??? I assume the laws and affiliate receiving reports change depending on the state in which you are recording, but why can't you just use the GPS or an in-app setting to determine that?
Other than that, the interface is dated and cluttered. It is good that the record button is featured prominently, though.
I'm also disappointed in the "Test" feature. I would want that feature to test the network connection as well as recording, but right now it only seems to test recording. The critical feature of this app is the ability to send video as soon as it is taken. Without testing the network connection under different conditions, you have no idea how long that might take when you need it.
Unfortunately this app is horrible. When going into settings to adjust anything the app will just crash. There are continuous notifications for things that don’t seem to exist. Not sure how I could trust this app to work if I ever actually needed it. Deleted.
1) whenever I click record, it warns me I'm out of state bounds, but I'm not. I'm most certainly in PA.
2) noticed small typo under rights tab it has a big a with accent (Á).
Wish it were formatted for iOS 9 to make the screen smaller and make it look more modern. Feels like it was made for iOS 7 or older versions.
Add support for iPhone 6S 3D Touch so I quickly record by pressing on app. (This is all about being quick, right?). Would make sense.
