I used to love this app. But there’s been some bug issues since beginning of June it’s been showing all transactions but froze on the balance of my account. Still showing same amount that was in both my savings and checking at the beginning of June and not reflecting my current balances. I can still turn the card on and off but what help is it if it doesn’t show current balance. I have an Apple iPhone XS. I would give this app 5 stars if this problem is fixed.
My dad suggested this app to me because he said I could use it to turn on or off my card and I went to go set it up but I accidentally put in something wrong 2 times and it locked my card so we called Tyndall to get it unlocked but they said they couldn’t see anything about my card like I hadn’t even put in any information about my card but I did and they said they couldn’t see anything so after it was unlocked we tried to go insert my card information but when I put in my card number it said “Sorry but this registration has been declined please call the number below”. And we called it and it took us right back to Tyndall and they said the same thing again that they couldn’t see anything about my card so we told them that we’re trying to put in the card information but it won’t let us so we were put with someone my dad knows who could help us so she helped us ( Also before this we tried to call the number on the app where it says contact us and it says their hours are from 9 to 5 and while we were doing this it was clearly around 3 or 4 but it went to voicemail saying please call Tyndall so Tyndall clearly was more of help to us then this app was) so she helped us my card was fully unlocked and I could use it but I’m still not able to put my card information in I guess I’m just going to have to make sure I don’t lose my card because this app is garbage and I totally realize now why this has a 2.7 review.
After downloading I was able to use it for ATM withdrawals. Everything seemed fine than I received a cancelation notice from my insurance company. After research I realized that I activated the insurance plan with the very card I activated through this app and it was blocking the transaction. Although I thought I enabled and disabled certain aspects correctly. Apparently not. After almost 4 hours talking to branch associates and customer service (all very nice and helpful) they either never heard of the app, or couldn’t help me solve the issue. Revered me to ‘watch the instructional videos’. In the end they found out that I could delete the app and all info would revert back to before the app was installed. But not without giving insurance company routing/account number to process policy. When developing an app please talk to your employees. They will be the ones getting the irate customer phone calls, not you the developer. Also teach them how to use and trouble shoot problems again they are the ones receiving the phone calls.
