Solid Syncing via iCloud, nice text editting markdown support while reading
The editor is nothing special. The stacks and inbox are solid ideas and the synching is awesomely fast.
The notes are text only, although you can add a single image to each note that shows as a "thumbnail" square view in the lists and at the top of the note. This can then be brought up full size by clicking on it or touching it in the iPhone app.
The things I like best are that it supports markdown (although not with a live preview) and that the syncing (via icloud) is VERY fast and so far reliable.
All in all a great start. I hope it gets better. For the price I'd say if it meets your needs go for it.
Also the developer support is amazingly fast. I had a response from the dev in less than 20 minutes after sending him a couple of comments.
For the price, my vote is grab it and the iPhone version now, before the introductory period is up. Just don't expect the Evernote 5 UI.
This is probably the out-and-out loveliest notes app of the many, many that I've tried. Which is important, since I intend to eventually spend a lot of time in it. I'm still figuring out how to adapt to the focus and stacks features, but I'm looking forward to figuring out how to make them work for me. I'd highly recommend this, especially at the price.
That said, I didn't want to begrudge the developer any stars for it, but there's some functionality that I'd expect to see missing. Some kind of quick-entry panel would be handy—creating a new note from the menu bar opens a normal window, and so pulls you out of full-screen apps—and the ability to run just a menu-bar helper without running the main program would be nice. All in all, though, this is an immensely polished early release that I imagine is just going to keep improving. Well done!
Great, beautifully designed app. The Markdown support is just what I wanted.
However, the app is missing some key things; custom font support would be great. Helvetica is nice and all, but I've got some font families I'd like to use, and the developer limited it to a short list of his choosing.
Also, I wish that dragging and dropping an image into a note automatically linked it via markdown. Furthermore, local images don't link correctly with Markdown, so I have to uplodad them to my file hosting service. (I use an equation generator that outputs images, and I include them in my notes for physics).
Wenn die Familienfreigabe aktiviert ist, können bis zu sechs Familienmitglieder diese App verwenden.
