  • Wonderfully designed app, just not for me.

    Cdoobie

I really like the way this app is set up and had no problems navigating it. I had the settings to show only the county I live in, so I could meet likeminded mommies who live near me (and possibly meet up). There aren't many users in my area unfortunately so my feed is pretty boring and filled with mostly posts from the same young mom who asks several questions a day. The ladies who respond to her posts were all very supportive and helpful but not very active! Even the "Trying to Conceive" board wasn't very active. Maybe it's because this is a newer app? I ultimately deleted it because it was just taking up much needed space and I wasn't using it. I feel like this app is more geared towards those who use social media because it has the same feel as Instagram or Facebook. If you want another social media account just more moms than this app is for you!

Thanks for your review. Our users have found like-minded moms with similar due date or ages of children or who were TTC, with similar interests and approaches to parenting. Friends they could talk to about anything and would want to get to know better before connecting in real life. And in an environment that is safe, welcoming and respectful unlike most social media. There are several large TTC groups, and it sounds like you should update your feed settings. Please email us at contact@mom.life for instructions.

  • Horrible app

They have terms and conditions that they DO NOT APPLY/FOLLOW. Everything they do is at their convenience. So, be prepared. Don't expect to be treated equally or the way you think you deserve. Actually be ready to see how they have preferences among users and how they tell lame excuses about their stupidity when it comes to making decisions. I was banned because my profile look "odd", because I didn't have any pictures when I recently joined. You gotta hurry to post all your personal life on there, that way you won't get banned or look odd to them. Hate is allowed. People can hatefully talk about you and they are fine with it. Also, they let people talk to you or others rudely. Public gossip and drama is allowed too (even tho they say is not) They claim not to allow men on the app, but that's a big lie. They do! They make exceptions and stuff. Just remember all these (and more) and don't cry later when they do any of that stuff to you. Because I've told you now!!!

  • Love it!!!

    Jessica Cunningham5billion

I've been using this app since the moment I found out I was pregnant. I love that their is real people on here and all of the advice is through personal experience. There are also a lot of moms and mommy's to be who live near me, so the app allows me to make friends that can be more than just internet buddies. The only thing I don't like is there tends to be quite a few fake accounts in the mix. Sometimes you think you're talking to another expectant mom when it's really someone's boyfriend or just some man creep. Also a lot of cattiness and name calling at times, as expected from a bunch of hormonal women. All in all, it's great. Nothing beats having a community out there with a bunch of other people going through the exact same thing as you!

  • I love this App!!

I really found this app to be very helpful when I was pregnant I was always researching different things on what to expect and trying to find some helpful tips. I never really found all of those answers I was looking for in one spot. With this app you can do research and you can even ask questions to other moms. Even if you just want to vent you can. Most of the mom groups I was in they where not very helpful and some were even rude. The experience I had with this was very positive it seems to be a very friendly place where others actually care and do not pass judgement. This is not just for pregnant first time moms it is for all moms. Stop by and give it a shoot.

  • Very helpful

I discovered this app in my first trimester and it really helped me out. I am expecting my 1st and I had a lot of questions. When I asked my family or looked online, I always got "check with your doctor" but here I got real advice from real women who have been through what I'm going through. I even had a little advice for them. I love that you can add pictures, it almost feels like an interactive Instagram. I love it. I think the "my activity" is kind of a pointless feature & they should just show your post on your profile. But that's my only complaint (not really a complaint) Great app, more moms or soon-to-be moms should know about!

  • Drama every where. Going to check out Another app

    noneyabusinesswho

I am a lurker and this is what I see. At first this seemed like a nice app but then it just became horrible. They kicked out/banned a bunch of 17 year olds because they updated their policies to only 18+ but then updated it again to 16+. What happens to those teen moms that got banned? Also they change their terms and policies constantly to adjust to what they want. There are favorites there and no one wants to admit it. Their block feature is crap and forget saying what you feel because someone will throw it out of proportion and you’ll get banned. Also if women don’t like you they can just get you banned by reporting you because the mods they have are petty and dishonorable. They should fire all their mods and get some new ones and make up their minds on their rules.
