Moment In Time - Clock 4+

Simple but better than fancy ones

I wanted a clock that was resizeable, that would show seconds, and that didn't have the annoying visual distraction of the "flip" clocks.

This one does all of that. It is resizeable, I can put it where I want it. It shows seconds (optionally). Date is there, but smaller, which is good.

There are other options, like setting color, changing font, etc.

The only things I'd really like to see added is military (24 hour) time, and for it to remember the size and position if it is stopped and restarted. The latter is really important to me, the former slightly less so. Hopefully, a future update will bring them. And hey, it's free, so I shouldn't whine!

It would also be nice if one could open multiple copies with different settings. But that's not as important as what it already does.

Hi there, thanks for your review! I've incorporated your suggestions into Moment In Time 1.5 and Moment In Time 1.5.1, which you can update to on the Mac App Store now!

I've added 24-hour time support, and also made it so the app remembers its size and position from its last session. Hope these new features improve your experience of Moment In Time!

Truly free horizontal clock - yay!

Thank you so much to the developer who made this app. I have been looking forever for an ad-free, always-horizontal app to use when I want to use my phone as a clock. This app fits the bill perfectly, works flawlessly and has no strings attached. I found it through the post on r/Apple and am very happy to have the app now. I use it every day and it is, without exaggeration, my favorite app because it wants nothing from me. The only thing I would change would be a setting to prevent the screen from turning off when the app is running, but I can use Shortcuts to navigate to the Auto Lock function and just put that homepage shortcut next to Moment in Time so I can easily set my screen timeout to "Never" prior to using the app. Thanks again to the developer for sharing this with the world.

Elegant but flawed. Please fix.

Surprisingly useful, but slightly flawed when used with multiple monitors: when it loses focus, the clock becomes invisible and the app must be restarted for it to reappear. Additionaly, the app does not remember simple preferences, like hiding the controls once a user has asked it to. As minor as these quibbles may seem, they become increasingly annoying with repetition. They are trivial to fix, so I hope the developers will read these comments and release updates that correct them. It would deserve five stars if they did.
