Great for managing cash!

I’m a 13 y/o kid who started a small business for 3D printing on-demand. I started a few months ago, and I can sure say that this app has helped me so much in managing and keeping track of my money! Since I’m 13, I don’t have a credit card, so all of my money was in cash, which is very hard to manage and keep track of. I was trying to find an app that could add and subtract money on command without linking a credit card to, as well as creating a budget. Then I found Money Lover, and it was history from there. When spending money(which I rarely ever did) I could easily create a transaction and see how much money I had remaining. When I made sales, I could add money into my account, which was super convenient! I eventually switched over to the premium account, which was totally worth it. The ability to make different kind of wallets such as goal wallets helped me make enough sales to buy a new 3D printer!

Everything in the app works really smoothly, and nothing is anything close to cheap quality. I am not sure why you wouldn’t want this app. Since my reasons for downloading it are specific to me, make sure to consult other reviews if you have questions or have a specific thing you need out of a money management app. Thanks for reading my story!

Pretty good

I’m a 14y/o who has been using Moneylover for a month and the app has a lot of great features, most of the options necessary for tracking spending is there for free, there is no need to pay an extra fee to use the options needed, such as being able to add budgets, adding transactions easily, as well as adding your own categories for specific items you spend on. However, I feel like if an adult or a business man were to use this and they wanted to link their bank accounts to the app it would be a bit troublesome as they need to pay extra to link their bank accounts and track some other spending aspects of their life, considering this is supposed to be a “free app.” I suppose it isn’t too much of a big deal for the spending aspect to go premium in the app, but I feel like there should be a lot more different aspects in the premium package than just adding onto other aspects of the options already available for free. As well as to elaborate what the “new features” of the premium package are, as I can see how people don’t want to be ripped off for options they may never use. As for suggestions on what they can do to improve the app is mainly just make a bit more features for free. I think its unfair for business men or adults who use this app have to pay a premium to use features that would make tracking their money easier, where as for kids or teens, its easier to use the app due to the fact that we can use all the free features of the app and don't need any add-ons.

Hey acupunch! 😊 Thanks a million for your detailed review. We're thrilled you're finding our features helpful at such a young age! Your feedback on the premium package and its features is super valuable. We understand that not everyone may need the same level of functionality, and we'll definitely take your suggestions into account in our ongoing efforts to improve. Thanks for using Moneylover! 💪🎉

Decent app

I have been using the free version of this app for the last couple months and it has been able to do whatever I needed to do related to my personal finances. The app has kept track of spending over the past months. The app takes note of my income compared to my spending to show how much money is left over. This app makes nice charts to show me net income which are very helpful if you are careful on how one spends money. The app allows me to put what category of expense the purchased object falls into. That could be for example, food, entertainment, clothing, ect.

However this app is very basic, and does not have all the features that the top budgeting apps have. Money lover does not have multiple features that are completely useful. The app does not allow you to hook up a credit card or connect to your bank (which is what a quality app usually has). Due to me having the free version, if they ever in the future added a way I could link the app to the credit card, I would not feel completely safe adding it.

I would want for Money lover to add a feature that you could just take a picture of your receipt to make it a little quicker than having to manually type it in. The app seems unsafe to me. Maybe they should improve the free version of the app so that there are no ads. When apps have ads the app feels cheap. In conclusion, it is a pretty decent app but very basic. It has worked for me and believe it can work for some of you.

Hey Braden753! Thanks for your 4-star review and the detailed feedback. 😊 We're delighted that our app is helping you with your personal finances! We hear your concerns about the basic features and safety, and we'll definitely consider these points for future improvements. Your idea about receipt scanning is brilliant! We appreciate your suggestions. Keep budgeting with us! 🌟
