Useful! "MR" of review #8 is clueless
Why there are any comments whatsoever re: moneynetwork online banking site, 800 number is beyond me..these are meant to be reviews for the APPLICATION specifically. Useful app, the MN card I use is actually the pay method my employer uses- yes, my wages are loaded to the card each pay period. Great features of the app: (note I am reviewing app, not the bank, not their website, results from calling the 800 number, get it?) push notification settings set up alert you to any or all activity. "Quick view" feature lets you view balance and last ten transactions without signing in-super convenient! My only complaint is quick view not a feature with my up-to-date iPhone software, but is on my outdated iPad (my iPad is old, won't allow me to do iOS updates) software. Leads me to believe that "updates" did away with this cool feature? Weird. Moral of the story is, it's a good app; never trust reviews from someone driving their car without enough gas in it; no responsible adult would do this-when was the last time you ran out of gas, for any reason besides a mechanical defect? Then give the app a bad review? Why don't they void reviews from those who
just had a bad day? So many reviews stated.."I've never written a review, but..." Thank you for the useful APPLICATION Money Network!!
Great App, Tiny Flaws
Honestly, I really respect this app. It’s quite secure and gives you a lot of control. However, there are some minor bugs that don’t obstruct the full functionality of the app, rather they’re just a bit inconvenient but they are an easy fix. For example, the notification feature (ex: you are notified when purchases are made) isn’t working (at least on the behalf of the Push notifications). I do hope this gets fixed because I and many others find it helpful to be alerted about our recent transactions. Moreover, there’s a piggy bank feature that is very helpful for saving money. You can set it up to where if a deposit of at least X amount of money is made, then it’ll automatically transfer Y amount of money to the piggy bank. I have tried and noticed that it does not follow through on this, rather you must do it manually. Again, just a minor inconvenience but it is still fixable. Other than those issues, this app is absolutely wonderful. It makes spending and saving money a breeze. I really like that they provide financial tips, too! Very helpful 😊
Bank Transfer Mode Is Slow, DO NOT use if you have bills due ASAP
I was given this pay Card by a temp agency while I was going through a roughly 30 day hire process by the company I now work for and get paid by via direct deposit now but I felt I needed to give anyone stuck with this app a heads up. The App brags that one of its features is the ability to transfer money off of your card to an external bank account, however, nowhere in the app does it give an amount of time of how long the transfer will take and it only states how long it will take once you have agreed to the transfer. I did it just after midnight on a Friday morning to my Chase account as my landlord only takes paper checks for rent (antiquated I know lol) and received a nasty surprise message that ‘this transfer will take 2-3 business days’ this was after the transfer process had went through, nowhere does it give you a heads up on how long it will take, so at that point I was stuck with next to nothing on that card, it immediately pulls the money out into cyberspace for that transfer and there’s no way to override it, so sorry for the long winded review but If you need to put money into your normal bank account off of this card you’re way better off just going to an atm, pulling the cash out then depositing it into one of your banks atms.
