Description
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office mobile application is an interactive app developed to help improve communication with area residents. The Montgomery County Sheriff App allows residents to connect with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office by reporting crimes, submitting tips, and other interactive features, as well as providing the community the latest public safety news and information.
The app is another public outreach effort developed by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to improve communication with county residents and visitors.
This app is not intended to be used to report emergency situations. Please call 911 in an emergency.

Please replace graphic with map
There are new streets and subdivisions being built all the time. When an alert concerns a specific area, the street names often don’t mean much to me. Instead of a graphic that says something like “Traffic Alert” why not show a map of that area, with at least one town name for reference? That way users can see if it’s near Security, or the Woodlands.
Can’t access
While I appreciate the notifications, especially in emergency situations, I can’t ever access the app during these times. I just get a screen with the logo. I need to be able to read the full notification.
