Moodflow is a minimalistic app that keeps track of your emotions, moods, thoughts and general well-being. Moreover, Moodflow accompanies you throughout your year and gives you knowledge about yourself that you might have not known before.
This is how simple Moodflow works:
Complete 3 quick questions each day and allow yourself to gain knowledge on HOW and WHAT you feel through time.
• 1. Select a rating for the day from 1 to 5.
• 2. Select the moods you are feeling.
• 3. (optional) Write a note of anything important to help you remind that day. Or simply write about the day.
• 4. (optional) Select the activities you did.
• 5. DONE!
Over time you will see the calendar fill out with the colors that reflect your mood and emotions. Likewise, you will be able to recall past days and know exactly WHY and WHAT you felt on a specific day. Call it an emotional diary.
These features will help you understand yourself better by letting you identify the things that are lifting you up or dragging you down.
Moreover, Moodflow uses a model of modern psychology that covers the most common moods to help you describe your emotions.
Furthermore, Moodflow encourages you to develop better habits by including 28-day Challenges. These challenges range in difficulty and will make sure that you develop small but impactful habits. As someone said: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."

Absolutely incredible, but could use privacy settings
I love using this app to track how I’ve been feeling, and recently it’s been showing an upward trend in my mood, which probably has something to do with my increased awareness of it because of having to write journal entries. So that’s pretty neat
However, I feel as though the journal entries I write are very personal, and whenever I let someone borrow my phone (which is often) I feel like they’ll get a glimpse into my private life that I don’t want them to have. Is there any possible way to create an option to input a password upon opening the app? It’s a feature in a dream tracking app (Lucidity) that I have that makes my private thoughts feel a lot more secure, and I think it would be a good feature here.

Thank you for your kind words. I will work on the pin lock feature ASAP. Hope you keep enjoying Mood Pixel.
The only mood tracker I’ve stuck with
This app is excellent overall, especially considering that it’s free.
I enjoy the format and all the customizable options. I appreciate having the option to pick specific emotions and make notes, but it’s important for me that in the end all I *have* to do to keep this up daily is choose a color. This is the difference for me- when I’m low energy, busy, or experiencing particularly negative feelings this is still manageable for me to do. Apps that rely primarily on journaling were very hard for me to be consistent with.
Importantly I’ve also found Mood Pixel to be very stable. The last mood tracking app I tried seemed to crash constantly even across updates.
My only small request is that the note writing mode be compatible with predictive text- maybe it’s just my phone or something but I have to type every word put letter by letter and I’d love to not have to do that.
Overall I enthusiastically recommend this app, especially if you’ve had difficulty keeping up with other mood trackers.
EDIT: Thank you for adding predictive text compatibility!! :D

Haha No worries!! Hope you keep enjoying it :) new cool features arriving soon.

You NEED this app
This app is amazing. For starters, the layout is super user friendly and very easy to look at. The cool tones are relaxing and doesn’t make tracking your moods seem like a huge task. I love that you can pick your own colors for the various moods and that I can write a little blurb about each day. Also love that I can press a button to indicate whether I exercised or took my medicine that day.
Probably the best thing though is the creator of this app. 2 weeks ago, I sent him an email requesting a particular feature be added to the app to help me navigate the calendar set up in an easier manner. That feature was include on the next app update. Talk about efficiency!
