YOUR MOOD TRACKER
Life is about ups and downs and can sometimes leave you confused. If you want to understand your emotions and moods, awareness for yourself is key. Moodistory is here to support you in doing that! It's a mood tracker for self-improvement to foster your mental health, happiness and well-being. It is also a supporting tool for coping with mood swings, bipolar disorders, anxiety and depression. Your mental well-being, your mental health, is Moodistory’s mission. Selfcare and empowerment are the cornerstones.
A mood tracker holds very sensitive data - that's why we made sure that your data is always safe!
Moodistory saves your data ONLY on your iPhone locally, so only you can access it. Only if you enable backup via iCloud, only then is your data saved in YOUR iCloud. We do not store any of your mood data on any server, and we do not share any of your mood data with any other app or website. No one but you has access to the data of your mood tracker!
Only things that are measured can be improved! Therefore, the first step in self-improvement is raising awareness and to understand. Knowledge is power, selfcare is key! Moodistory helps you in understanding problems, fears and concerns. It supports you in increasing your problem-solving skills by discovering behavioral patterns (by e.g. analyzing your Year in Pixels chart) and triggers. Because Moodistory establishes facts about the history of your mood, you'll feel more in control!
IT'S ABOUT YOU
Moodistory was created with you in mind. We think that selfcare and keeping a mood diary are supposed to be fun, rewarding and easy to do.
We are adding new features with nearly every single update. But only with your help are we able to move into the right direction. We are fully committed to improving Moodistory with your feedback!
If you have any questions or feedback about our mood tracker, contact us at https://moodistory.com/contact/
We're super excited to bring you a cool new feature that will be highly useful for you: our convenient search feature:
You can now search for texts, filter for moods, events or even images. And the cool thing is, that you can combine those filters in any way you want, giving you the opportunity to find mood patterns on your own. The sugar on top is the capability to export search results directly into a PDF.
To access the new search feature, go to the home screen and tap the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner.
Additionally, we've added a useful new chart to the analytics section called "Often Together Positive/Negative." It helps you identify connections between multiple events and your mood. You can find it by going to the event details screen (by tapping on an event in the analytics main screen) and scrolling down below the calendar.
Lately, we got multiple requests to change the font size of the 'Notes & Thoughts' field. Now, you can do that. :) Just go into 'Menu & Settings' > scroll down to 'Customize Moodistory' > set 'Notes & Thoughts Font Size'.
Last but not least, we've taken care of some glitches, making this the best version of Moodistory to date.
Thanks to you, our beloved users, Moodistory has evolved into an awesome mood tracker that gets better with every feedback you send! It's what drives the further development of Moodistory and makes sure those features are implemented that are helpful to you. So, if you have any kind of feedback, please do not hesitate and write to firstname.lastname@example.org - We read and reply to every single message, so expect to be heard!
Ratings and Reviews
A few misunderstandings but fantastic customer support
So by all rights I had my apprehensions and was quite upset with a couple of features that in turn were based on my assumptions rather than the text at hand. The watch app currently does not support GPS location when logging events, though through my support emails that is subject to change it looks like, and the watch app does not support logging heart rate during the taking of mood notes which is something I had assumed it did but upon further reading of the text description realized that it was my error in that assumption. While I have provided suggestions through the support emails and the responsiveness has been high, I had originally planned a three star rating. But based on customer support and future upgrades I reserve a five star rating.

Thank you so much for your review and your feedback! It really helps us further improved Moodistory. Very happy to hear that you're happy with our customer support. 😊 Thanks to your feedback, the Apple Watch app will soon have support for automatically saving the location with a diary entry.
I’m a 23 Male and I have to say I am enjoying this app a ton. You can customize it to be a mans experience rather then a woman’s. Several apps like this are catered to women.
I like having a place to post my feelings and the things I’ve done during the day. It’s also nice that I can go back to any day and read the fond memories or the dumb problems.
I personally haven’t changed anything in my life because of this app but that’s because I’ve only been using it for a week. I fully plan on changing my daily life because of this app.
I also agree your health on iPhones should be connected to this app and also I have no clue if you could partner with Fitbit but that would be great.
Thank you for the fantastic user interface and the cheap price.

Thank you so much! Glad you like Moodistory and great to read that you'll be using it to make changes in your daily life! Thank you also for your suggestions. We have the connection with Apple's Health app on our to-do list and we've just added +1 to the priority counter. :) All the best!
Love it! Helping a lot!
I really like the ability to track what’s making me feel certain ways, if I were to make a suggestion, I’d say more icons for events, more color customization (editing the background, text color, etc), maybe customizing the little mood not with a hat or something would be kinda neat, and lastly, more color options, maybe being able to select colors from cmyk sliders, a color wheel, etc and add them to the base palette or at least a few for a favorites bar or something. I’m also having a slight error wherein the missing entry icon on the page that shows recent entries won’t go away, even when I click it and make an entry it doesn’t leave and I have no clue what it’s for or what to do about it

Update Nov 7, 2019: The mentioned update is now - hope you like it! :) +++ Nov 4, 2019: Awesome to hear that you love Moodistory and that it's helping you a lot! :) We are continuously adding more icons to our app. If you are missing specific icons, please let us know. More color customizations are on our roadmap (we plan to have something similar to a slider). We also like your idea of customizing the little mood. :) Later this week we'll be releasing an update that will fix the issue about the missing entry. Wish you all the best and thanks again for your review! :)
