Great app, two suggestions for improvements.

This semester I have used the app for all my classes.
Overall it worked well and was very practical. At times, uploading large files worked faster through data instead of WiFi.

Two suggestions come to mind:
First, there are no tabs available for course mail. I realize having email programs within the app may be asking a lot. A page with a link similar to ‘open in browser’ options available throughout the app would help, as it seems that the mail tab at the top of the website and course mail (link that comes up in the course menu on the right of the website) are separate from one another.

Second, for assignment deadlines posted by teachers, would it be possible to include the time zone of the location of the school. Example: assignment due 4pm EST, Wednesday October 14th 2020. Instead of only 4pm.
The reason being, when taking a class from outside the time zone of the school, the device or app may post the time zone in which the student is instead, creating confusion.
Often times the teacher will request assignments to be submitted earlier than class time on the day of. For this reason, knowing exactly when helps better planning accordingly.

Unless I am mistaken, I thought it was a feature of the previous version of the app/ website.
In any case the clearer it is, the better.
I do love having the app on the devices, phone and tablet.

Improvements are happening

Love to have this app, which makes working on an iPad for school so much easier. I’ve been using the app for years and they’ve made many improvements. Very happy to see split screen now work (this is so important). I wish in file uploads, it didn’t have “shared file” and “file” (this is a bit confusing) but nonetheless, being able to upload my homework from my iPad is a huge convenience. Very satisfied with this app and looking forward to see what improvements they continue to make.

Was working fine until recently

I’ve been using this app version of Moodle for about a year with very few problems, but within this past month I have had a lot more than I normally would. At first I thought it was just my account or my device that was the problem, but a few of my classmates have had the same issues.

Often when I try to click a link in the app, the app does not respond. It also takes me back to my login screen and forces me to log back in wayyy more often than it used to. It does this even if I’m actively using the app.

I hate to give the app such a low rating, but I hope this review catches the developers’ attention so that these issues can be resolved. Thank you!
