Ratings and Reviews
Nice app with one major flaw
Can’t help but like this app. The algorithm for Magic Enhance works very well. This app beats many of the other similar apps at the App Store simply because it does have selection tools built into its format. My only complaint is that the selection tools are not available in the Adjustment Panel! Why not, they’re in the app? That really doesn’t make sense. The one place you really need them is in the Adjustment Panel. This is a nice app, add all four selection tools to the Adjustment Panel with the next upgrade and you’ll have a real winner.
Good tools
I would have given it a 5 star except for crashes sometimes when trying to update meta data. Which is a prime need I have. It has a good sortment of tools and is easy to work with once you get the hang of how they do it. Its a good porogram and I am sure the more I use it the more I will like it. It is better than most other programs I have tried. I's close to PS ELEMENTS but the price difference and not having to deal with PS's cloud makes this the hands down winner.
Easy to use but file saving is a pain
This app is great for quick and dirty video cleanup—making someone look younger, removing spots and specks from older photos, etc. It won’t take the place of PhotoShop or high-end editing software but is perfect for everyday use.
The reason I give it three stars instead of five is that file management with the app is cumbersome. If I try to save a file in a different directory, I get the message that the app ‘can’t access that directory’ so I have to save files to my desktop then open Finder and manually move them to the correct folders.
